20% Off Gaming Consoles Dell Home

I'd really like to pick one of these up, either the arcade or the 60gb. But I just don't know if I should. Mostly I'd probably play fable 2, and maybe pick up gears 2... maybe

just don't know if it's worth it.

the arcade for $160 is nice, but then it lacks the hdd, which is like $40 for a 20gb

I just got an arcade ended up paying 151 after tax and after getting a dell $100 gift card for 80 off ebay. Its a Jasper! I'm suped. Finally, i get the xbox they should have made from the frakin start.
 
This is how I got my ps3 a month ago.
I paid around $340 with shipping
 
picked up a ps3 for around $316 and a 60 gig 360 Jasper for around $220 with this deal couple of weeks ago. Dell also has the fastest shipping I ever experienced, I received everything within one day .
 
Just picked up an arcade for $171 out the door...not too bad thank god for the wife giving the go ahead and this coupon.

Can you or anyone else provide me with a link to the coupon that's ending February 25th? I've tried all the coupons found through Google but adding the coupon only leads to 20% off software. Thanks. Very much appreciated.
 
i placed the order and then 2 days later it was on my front doorstep. Pretty amazing
 
I picked up an xbox 360 w/ the 60gb harddrive a couple weeks ago for like $260 and it came with Tom Clancy's Endwar as a bonus. I got screwed though and only got a falcon, no jasper. :(

whats the diff between falcon and jasper?(yes 360 newb, plan on buying a 360 soon)

Thanks for the heads up. I was bumming last night that the deal was dead. XBox 360 Elite on the way for $340 with tax.
 
Yep, it was dead this morning, and I called and complained. They fixed it for me, not sure if that triggered it back for everyone. I've got a PS3 on the way! How's Dell's delivery time? ETA right now is 3/4. ♠

I've never gotten anything on time from Dell.... my stuff has ALWAYS been early.

The jasper has a 65nm GPU and CPU. The falcon has a 65nm CPU but still a 90nm GPU. When the xbox 360s first came out, there were a large number of them dying after about 12 months. This was called the RROD (Red ring of death). Supposedly it was an issue with heat and shrinking the GPU and CPU lowers heat. Falcon xboxes suffer from it less, but it is still a problem. There is hope that jasper will nearly eliminate the issue.
 
I got the arcade for $172 shipped to my door. Ordered at 11pm Saturday the 21st and it was on my doorstep by 4pm Wednesday the 25th. The arcade has the new Jasper chipset and from what I can tell runs very cool. I have played for a few hours on it and not felt it get any warmer than my launch date Wii. However, when the drive spins up it can be loud, nothing overly loud but loud enough to hear in my hallway around the corner from my entertainment center. Found out that any manufactured after Oct. 2008 are pretty much guaranteed to be Jasper but if you look at the power brick and it had a 12.1A rating then it is definite.

Now to pick up the 60gb starter kit!!

I just checked it out and it did work on accessories. Damnit if I had $90 I would get my damn starter kit, with tax and s&h would run me $91.03

RE: J32P - Yes, there is a very good chance you would get a Jasper. ESPECIALLY if you order the Arcade. As I believe the Arcade was released AFTER the Jasper chipset came out and they did not produce it with any other chipset. YMMV

Wow... just looked at Dell's website and they are no longer selling the Arcade version!?! Kinda odd but the only ones they are selling are the Elite's and Premium (60gb model), bummer....
 
Alright this thing is live again until the 26th of March. And they have added it to accessories to. However, right now their cart system is down (getting a redirect loop error) so I would hold off. Thing sucks it I plan to pick up the 60GB starter kit this weekend but will it be more fruitful to use the dell coupon (20% off 109.99 plus s+h/ tax) or just go to BB or Walmart and grab one... Wonder how much shipping and tax would be.

I just bought a arcade console today from ebgames.I got a jasper but I did pay $199 for it
The best thing about it is I got a 20gig hard drive for only $20 then I got hao 3 for $20 also
I dont have alot of money left for a hdmi cable and the rca cable hookup makes the 360look like shit
