I play on her account sometimes when I'm at her place and my brother plays on mine sometimes, all three of us are newbs.
 
It's insane. I'm getting invites from more than one person at a time now. Hehe. Too bad the game is only 4 vs 4 or just 4.

nice very nice. Ive played yesterday and everytime i get into a lobby theres one or two who has just bought the game. Niceee, bigger community thus valve should now push on delivering that extra content!

Had a great time with a few of you from [H] last night. Tried 3 manning the end of no mercy and that was a pita, but a lot of fun. My phone buzzed so I checked the message and lo and behold it was 2:30 am. Damn, haven't done that since my college days.

when i go to add you, it says your ID doesnt exist.

Here to find your id, go to the community tab in Steam, and hit view my profile. Then at the top your url should be steamcommunity.com/id/XXXX where the XXXX is your id for people to add you. Just post that and ill add you :)
 
I've been playing on a competitive team now for a little over a month and knew when I pubbed after the weekend the new guys would be out in full force, but if you guys see me in a game, my steam name is TLC.darklcd and I'm more than willing to help. I don't rip on new people unless they go afk or do something REALLY stupid.
 
I had a good steam account once, 10-15 games and my ID was 80500. I heard kiddies are buyin 4 and 5 digs for like 80 bucks now :D The best would be playing CS and having douche tards accuse me of buying my account from someone. Cocks. I never played in any league over calim so i wasnt as good as some people but what crackhead buys a steam account for the ID?!?! Newbs. I wish I still had that one, i sold it for $20 it was a very bad choice. I had so many good games on it. All source games + more etc.
 
lol Con, I'm still on my original account, 0:1:81791. I also have a 6 digit, I could probably make some money off of them but screw that, I'm not ditching those accounts just so I can buy an 8/9 digit account.

From what I've seen, you might be able to get away with it. Usually anything over 140 ping and you can't hit pounces at all. Ideally you want to be lower but that seems to be the limit.

I set it to texuspete00. My profile was blank. I hadn't used steam for 2 years or so until I just got the orange box and this so I dunno.

it worked and i added you. my steam name is sTaTiiK x and it said i added you as texuspete00 as your in game name, so its you haha
 
Looks like they've extended the sale until tomorrow. Cool. More noobs = less obvious noobery on my part.

That way - we can just add one group - rather than adding 15 guys!
Also - you'd recognize these guys are all from [H]L4D vs. other games, race teams, etc.

Go to the COMMUNITY TAB then the GROUPS TAB & click the link "Create a new group"
- you can take it from there...

I look forward to meeting you guys - I got the game this weekend too!

This is a great idea. Steam must be down in terms of group creation because when I click "create," nothing happens. I'm relatively new to steam anyway, so I wouldn't have thought of this idea. I'll try to create it again later.

It's such a fun game. Totally refreshing gameplay. I'm a lot less noob-ish after playing this weekend with a buddy of mine and his friend, as well as with many of the hardforum people in this thread. It's definitely something you have to experience. :D

The AI director makes every game different, basically. I was playing a game with Scarface yesterday (he's somewhere in this thread I think), where four tanks spawned...we tried the last map of the No Mercy campaign (think it was No Mercy...not sure) several times, each time getting closer. When we almost beat it, but then the fourth tank spawned abruptly wiping us out. :p

you can use "[H] Left 4 Dead" which I created a while ago. If anyone wants to admin it let me know cause I don't know exactly what to do with it.

I clicked joined, but nothing happens just like when I tried to create a community.

Nice expert campaign earlier tonight, and then a pretty fun versus game. It was only my second time playing versus, but Boomer is pretty funny and I suck at Hunter. It's a lot harder to coordinate as infected as opposed to survivor.

I'm starting to think that versus is the way to play. Campaign, it's all AI on the zombie side, right? That's fine, but it's just Gauntlet, really. :D

Yep, campaign is all computer controlled AI. Versus is fun if you don't have hours to spend in a campaign. It's also great for when you're just bored of campaigning, since you can play as the zombies. :D
