My other thread didn't go so well where I asked if there were regular Hard members that played l4d just so that newbs like me could learn the game. http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?p=1033711607#post1033711607

I figure, why not try to round up the people that just bought L4d because of the 50% off sale right now. I think it'd be good to learn maps and things and just 'figure' things out. I figure it'll be a light atmosphere since none of us would be elitist.

Anyone who's on the fence should just get it. The game is extremely fun once you get past the elite zombie hunter douche bags.

It's my profile name, and the name that shows up in groups/chat. Not sure why it didn't work but I added you myself.

Edit: Ah, I figured out why. When I signed up for Steam they only accepted emails as IDs... wish I could change that. I thought it was still that way for everyone. It's a dead address anyway so what do I care.

How do I add servers in l4d? I can't find a place to add an IP address. Is there a way to view all the servers like in other games such as TF2?

Something Ive been meaning to bring up, but never thought it warranted a thread to itself was....anyone else notice the influx of ZOMBIE games lately? Or is it just me?

Forget about games. Have you seen the amount of books? It's crazy. World War Z is awesome if you haven't read it yet. Also a remake of Pride and Prejudice with zombies.

I got this game during the holiday sales, but haven't played too much due to the inordinate amount of douchebags you meet playing with random people (plus an addiction to TF2 :p). It would be awesome to play with friends.

I have a headset and mic. It is lots better playing with people when they can talk, but not required as long as they are not assholes. Add me if you like, but I won't be on for a week or so. My computer is down for upgrades (wohoo i7!) but they sent me the wrong part for the heatsink so I gotta wait for a replacement. :(

I sent a few invites. Thanks for adding me lead foot, hopefully we'll get some games in sometime. I have to do all the expert campaigns over again because my achievement reset so I hope some of you can lend a hand.

I still don't even have the achievements for beating all four of the campaigns. I don't have very much luck making it to the boat. :p
