Okay so this is my first post so go easy. What are your opinions and suggestions for best Multi button gaming mouse. I would like as many buttons as possible. My main usage is for warhammer online. I use the mouse for looking around and never let my hand off. I would like as many buttons as possible to be able to program them to open/close backpack character attributes. etc. etc. Thank you in advance for your suggestions.

Yeah I am just concerned mainly with spinning around when being attacked from behind. So i want a highly responsive mouse plus a bit of buttons to work with. The mouse you chose looks like it might work as well. Hoping for a few more opinions so I can do my research. Thanks for the response..

mx1000 I've used it for WoW and War has 8 buttons to bind 3 within easy reach of your thumb.

I still think the Logitech MX 1000 laser is the best gaming/general use mouse.

The MX1100 seems to be pretty solid for gaming/general use if you'd like something a little 'recent'

Alot of people I've talked to think I'm nuts, but I use the Microsoft Trackball Explorer for gaming, and I love it. Five buttons, and a ball means I don't have to move it, which I can't stand doing.

MS Sidewinder
+comfy for big hands
+5 fully programmable buttons
+macro button
+Wide metal mouse wheel with solid detents
+2000 dpi on the fly
+weights (if your into that sorta thing)
+solid build quality (1.5 years so far)
+assortment of teflon pads to accomodate a variety of surfaces
+corded

Got a Logitech Revolution 5 button mouse for the laptop. Great as well, although wireless. If you can hold off a month, there is a newer sidewinder coming out featuring a new wireless tech that is lag free, apparently.

As for lag these guys are saying 100% no lag problems: http://www.techradar.com/news/gamin...icrosoft-sidewinder-x8-vs-logitech-g9x-525634

Did you ever play DAOC? How does the PvP/RvR in WH compare to DAOC if so? I kinda stopped reading about WH and most any MMORPG after I quit DAOC about 2 years ago but I absolutely loved the PvP/RvR enviroment in DAOC up to then (I was as much into the 8v8 scen as into solo'ing and general RvR zerg mayhem, Classic servers brethed a lot of life into the game for me).

Anyway, if it compares at all, I always loved using my MX1000 in DAOC... I had one button set to reset the camera, one set to target the nearest enemy, and one set to assist... Wasn't really using all the buttons (there were two more on a rocker around the wheel and another in the middle of the thumb rocker/buttons). I'm itching to upgrade to the MX1100 myself, looks even more comfortable and the buttons are even better placed, love the switchable wheel too.

Forget the X8, how about that Razer Mamba? $140 it is or something? Lol.

What's the best right-handed mouse for FPS?

Did someone tried Logitech G9 mouse? How it feels? Is it good for FPS? The MX1000 was excellent for graphics and other stuff but not for FPS gaming.

I picked up a steelseries ikari optical and from time to time the mouse pointer will stop moving before my hand stops moving the mouse. Anyone else get this?

I saw the new mamba out.... gotta get one. It is a cordless/corded mouse with plenty of buttons, and it looks like it should have a nice feel as well (it comes in this plastic cube box).

I love my G7 the most for cordless... have the MX1000 and 1100 collecting dust, and the GF uses the MX revolution (not great for action games, but for RPG/RTS's its fine). Otherwise, the G9 is the best corded IMO. I like its feel and everything... too bad I just dont like the whole 'cord' thing. But thats where the new mamba comes in... although at $129... thats some cash for a mouse...

Who cares? The deathadder has the biggest bar, so that must mean it is the best!

I am currently boycotting razer.

I'd say G9. Not as many buttons as the Steelseries WoW edition but easy to assign macros/functions to all the buttons and very stable.
