Post your pc screen shots!

I just installed vista last night so I'm playing around with some gadgets and workin on substituting rocket dock for my task bar.

Had to censor... :D

Link to wallpaper plz? Does it come in 1920x1200

I just finished a simple set of red dock icons to work with the theme I got going on here... they're on my D.A. if anybody wants them :)

*snip*

That's gorgeous... very clean, with great contrast. Not bad for such a dark(ish) style look/theme, really. Great job...

Thank you :)
I had to do it... I love that car so much :D

Ok, now pardon my ignorance: what car is it, exactly? :D Can't make out the insignia just forward of the door panel there... kinda gives me a Ferrari feel but... because of the front grill there I guess, but I'm not that into cars. Is that a real pic or a render, anyway...?

And before I'm reined in for off_topic... ;)

Yah, it's huge, deal with it. I finally got me a damned awesome LCD a few days ago: one of those HP L2335 23" 1920x1200 LCDs from that Geeks.com special... $162 shipped... love it love it love it... :) Had to do 10% on the JPEG compression to make the image even reasonable in size, PNG couldn't compress it for shit. PNG compressed at 1% was nearly twice as large as JPG at 1%.

Found the wallpaper/theme here if anyone is interested, a small collection of Windows 7 themes (won't work on XP/Vista as themes but you might be able to extract the wallpaper, etc if you wish):

The Aluminum one I chose just looks sooooooooooooo gooooooooooood on this LCD, I swear... :)

Your feeling would be correct... it's a 2009 Vandenbrink Ferrari 599 GTO... and it looks to be a very good render as far as I can tell.

What happened to your second 22in? I thought you got another?

I did get one, but then didn't use it as much as I thought I would... so I traded it to my lady for my Logitech Illuminated Keyboard back, and she promised not to raise hell when I buy a new Wacom Intuos 3 and a few things for my car :D She's a very understanding girl when I bribe her :p

it's not finished yet, but when it is I will post it up here for you. There is actually no wallpaper, its just a black back ground. Everything you see is samurize. I don't know if you can tell but its a Stacker 830 with a ASUS Striker Extreme and a ASUS silent knight II CPU cooler. When I release it I may do couple different variations of cases and coolers (if anyone cares).

I could tell that it was a Stacker (most of the reason I wanted it 'cause I have the same case). If I could make a suggestion I would say that you should also make a version where the case is facing left with the mobo and such flipped the other way as if it were that way in the case. Just a suggestion but I think that would be cool.

And not to sound like a total n00b but where and how does one use samurize? I have actually never used it heard the term but never found a reason to get into it (until now)

For everything to work with the config you will need:

Samrurize
Speedfan
GPU-Z

I may make one with the motherboard in the normal configuration, I'll have to see how much work in ends up being. Once you have all of those installed you will just need the config file for samurize, and I'll pm you when it's finished(couple more days probably).

Thank you very much bladeiai. This is awesome I can't wait to get everything working. Thanks again.

Sorry about the double post and this is probably the wrong place to get into this... But I was wondering if someone could tell me how to get Samurize working with all the widgets and such I downloaded this http://lithium3r.deviantart.com/art/BlackSuite-81000842 . And now All that is working is the uptime bar and the Harddrive bars (which I was wondering how to rename). I was wondering if someone could tell me how to get the CPU, RAM bars working.

Your going to have to edit the config to get everything working correctly. In all honesty, it would be very difficult to walk you through that in a single post, so I would really recommend reading the tutorials on the Samurize site.. that would be a good start.

A few quick tips though... you can rename the HDD meters by finding the text entry you want to change (should be on the left panel in the "Config Tool" selection under Samurize. Click on it, that should bring it up on the right panel and you can re-name it there.

As far as CPU and RAM usage, you need to edit the meter in the "PerfMon" tab found under the Meters tab.... and the tutorials should help you do that...

Good luck... I really like Samurize, it's a cool app but there is a learning curve...

Yeah I figured as much... And I never found those tutorials before so I will see what I can do with those tonight. Just one more question if I can ask it :p How do I add more meters to my config So that it follows the same theme as the others. Is there like a create new gauge type deal like there is with yahoo widgets (yeah I know the basics of basic) but it would be awesome if I could find that out.

You can add "Meters", or gauges so to speak.... just hit the "Add Meter" tab on the top of the right panel and select what you want to add. You best bet is likely going to be simply playing around with it for a while and getting a feel of how it works... You can configure the meter in many ways once you have added it. Click through each panel in the config tool and you will find that you can change the color, display type, size position etc.....
