One person reported a cancelled order, and it says "Cancelled for your own protection".
That doesn't sound like a pricing error cancellation.
 
That Seasonic has 41A between the 12v lines (which, from what I've read is actually on 2 instead of 4). I guess I need to figure out if there's any sort of breakdown for which connectors are on which line.
 
took a few tries to check out earlier this morning, but finally got it through and got an order confirmation email. now we'll see if they actually ship it.

and to think i almost bit when the gtx 280's were @ $300+...
 
$17 tax in NYC is a pain. That and my 4850 is already overkill for what I use. But... So tempting.
 
which means they have a warehouse or a physical selling presence in that state...
 
If they cancel my order I will unleash hell!!!!

This is terrorism. I hope FBI/ CIA / Navy Seals / Chuck Norris hunt them down for this.
 
In for an SC...trying to stay optimistic about this one. The Buy.com SC listing on ebay still shows $211.49, so chances look a little better for those than SSCs. Awesome deal if it works...

to be honest i dont understand why there isnt a policy of online stores HAVING OBLIGATIONS to honor a wrong price if its wrong. Physical stores have price adjustments when someone forgets to take the tag down i dont get why that policy doesnt exist online
 
what the f? i proceed to check out with my 3 SC's and it says the price has changed to 346 after rebates...but the price is still 200 on the item's page...WHAT THE F?

A dual 6pin to single 8 pin adaptor seems to be standard from looking at screenshots on the egg. Combined with a 2x molex to PCIe6 adaptor you can get the 4 physical wire pairs needed to transfer the peak power without risking over current damage (eg melting insulation, etc) to the wiring.

If they have it on Ebay for the same price im sure the deal is real. It could of been a price mistake on their site but someone had to list it on Ebay for that price. I guess we will see.

Update: Just checked Ebay again and it still says $211.00 but when you click on it the price changes to over $300+.

Its listed for $366 on Ebay now...
 
Price jumped again. I just checked my order, says ~$220 (with tax and everything), but I go to the card's page again and the price is $346 AR.

Just bit on an SC. An overclocked GTX 280 & Far Cry 2 for under $200 (AR) is pretty sweet. Hope this deal goes through.

Lucky for us it seems they are fixing the prices. Back to $300+ :eek: Or maybe not so good.

Although I keep upgrading my card every 5 months or so but never really utilize my previous card. Just spend money upgrading each time for minimal improvement. I should just wait a year or two until I can actually notice a difference :D

why did i even think about this one? i should have just pulled the trigger and thought later. but no, i had to go to newegg and price out the other hardware required for a new build and i missed out. basically...sucking at life right now
 
Got mine trough eBay got the EVGA, payed with a paypal-bank was charged $211.49 USD.

Also got Antec Signature SG-850 PSU for $218

Whats the difference between SSC and SC? How come the price of the SSC went up. I would rather wait for the SSC to go back down.
 
Too late for either. Buy.com's price feed probably screwed up. Oh well. I bought it via Ebay, didnt pay for it. Then I bought it from the Buy.com site and paid for that. Then I tried to cancel my Ebay order only to find that somehow the 2 orders became the same. Hopefully it slips past them.

I believe the SSC is clocked higher, but both are great deals.

I just refreshed the page with the SC card and just saw a huge price difference
 
Well, they even went through the trouble to make a special "save 54%" logo and everything, so I don't see how it could be a mistake. Unless it's just an overlay that pops up..
