I've got a pair of DT770/80Ω and I use a LDII+ tube amp and I love the sound. Very warm and just enough bass for the 770's to shine were they do best. It's not top end setup but it gets the job done.

My setup looks like this X-Fi Xm>Zhaolu 1.3 DAC>LDII+>DT770/80Ω.

I got a deal on a Little Dot MK III that I just couldn't pass up...so here she is in her new home haha (sounds amazing btw)

Here is my setup at the last Head-fi meet.

My stuff is on the left there...No, the stax arent mine =) i wish...

Koss clips came. They work very nicely, although it was tricky to mount the darn thing on my desk. Something about the 1" thick wood.

I literally had to pound mine with a rubber mallet to get it onto my desk. It ain't coming off now. Great headphone holder.

I just got some pretty sweet noise-cancelling Bose headphones for Christmas. Nothing fancy, but they work for me.

IEMS count sure. Just wait until I get my custom ear Futuresonics A5s.

Nice amp btw, is the ipod modded?

iPod is stock. The 4G Nano sounds pretty damned good IMO. Now that the amp is burned in the whole rig sounds really nice. I may get a set of HD600s once again since I loved them so much,.

Just got this in today:

The box is a lot smaller than I expected. I was expecting something like the size of the black case that came with the UM2 I bought years ago.

So far I have only listened to them for about 20 minutes and I find them great. Bass is tight, there is no more recessed mids like my previous SF5Pro and they are comfortable to wear too. The sound isn't mind blowing and it is still steps behind full sized cans, but for a pair of IEMs that I will mostly use on the train only, I am more than happy with their quality. I will test out how well they isolate outside noise when I use them on the train tomorrow.

I am going back to Sennheiser HD 600s since I loved them so much.

The 800s are way too much and demand a proper front end IMO.

Nice Westones too.

I have a dCS Delius and Purcell upsampler here so I know how important sources are. My headphone setup is just a secondary setup for computing/gaming. I do serious listening on speakers.

I did not order the HD800's yet but that is what I will probably wind up with eventually. I'll deal with my amp afterwards. I agree the Headbox could be improved.

I might also replace the op amps on the X-FI.

I'm on the HD800 preorder :)

I'll post pics / impressions when they get here.
Damn you rich. From initial reviews the soundstage is the biggest out of any dynamic can in production today..Even bettering the GS1000. Working as BB as cramped my audio gear buying..Need a better job.

Just received a Headroom Ultra Desktop Amp to go with my HD650.

So far I'm quite pleased. It has really opened up the 650.

p.s. I don't like the look of those new HD800, look like they belong in an episode of StarTrek. I'm sure they sound very nice though but at $1400.00 I will never know how good they sound.

Nice. I was looking at the lunchbox when I was looking for my first amp but went with the Little Dot MK III, instead.

What's your equipment experience? I never got a chance to hear it so I don't know how it sounds.

Was previously using EMU 0404 USB headphone amp. Went with the Lunchbox Pro because the price is very good and it was recommended to me to use a tube amp with DT990pro. Lunchbox Pro uses the same circuit design as the Earmax which is a $600.00 tube amp. 240mw@300ohm. Has Hi/Lo impedance switch. A post I read at headfi said if it used the same tubes and caps as the Earmax then they should sound pretty much the same. It's a nice sounding little amp. I got mine for $199.00 because it was on sale over Xmas, usually they are $225.00. Craig at Eddie Current said they won't be selling them for much longer. The amp is actually made in Russia by Laconic and is why it sells for such a good price.

I was originally going to get a red Woo3 but that is $470.00 and didn't want to spend that much.

The green is not so bright as in the photo and that is caused by the fact I needed to use flash because there was not enough light in my apartment. I actually ordered in black but was told a bunch of them got damaged during shipping from Russia so my only choice was white or green.

Anyway, people at headfi give the Lunchbox high marks but don't know how it sounds compared to the LD MKIII. I was going to get LD MKIV but didn't want to have to order from China.

Nice photo. Did you take that yourself? Must have needed a tri-pod in such low light.
