What are you all using for HTPC case?

Curious what you all have for your setup.

I want one that is all black, as plain as possible in the front, maybe a volume knob. Also, would like to have either an IR built in so that I don't have to run the MS IR receiver separate, or needs to have vents, so I can jam the IR receiver into the case and it won't be seen. Any ideas.

Pics would be awesome!!!!

antec fusion 430 black version. I don't have any pics handy but it fits all your needs. I use it with my Logitech Harmony remote that is configured as an MCE remote for the htpc. They have a version that includes a remote but its the imon remote which I don't like as much as the mce remote.

I have a Ahanix D-Vine 5. It's all aluminum, black and has very clean lines. The problems with it are that it has room for very few drives, very poor cooling, has a ridiculously bright blue power LED and needs a SFX PSU. Mine came without the PSU and without the VFD, so I placed the IR receiver where the VFD goes and I used a 2U server PSU instead of the SFX.

see sig :)

Been very happy with it so far, dead silent, blends will with other equipment, and great interior.

I have this case, also use a Logitech Harmony, and absolutely love it. Having some issues uploading pictures currently, but I do have some of my HTPC. It is a very clean front end, and has all the features you want. Point of note, do not use the drivers that come with the case, they are horrible.

I am using a Silverstone Sugo 02F. It is basically a SFF case and works for me.
I just got it on Friday.
Oh, the LED's are really really bright so I folded up some white paper and taped it in front of the LED's to lessen the brightness.

NSK-2480 here... I really like this case. The front can be sprayed black (I was thinking of using a dye). I've been using for about a year for in my living room and it's mostly quiet. I wouldn't recommend using the Noctua's with this case (like I have) as they produce a distinct humming noise. I am swapping them out for SlipStreams.

Yeah, I have the Antec Aluminum Veris Fusion Black 430 Micro ATX Media Center case too. I actually just got it yesterday! $140.00 on craigslist new in box. It has a more than ample power supply for most needs, excellent layout, build in IR receiver, lcd display and big 120mm fans that have a built in High/Med/Low switch so you can keep them nice and quiet if you have a cool enough system. Silicone covers on the drive bays do dampen sound. I love this case. Just waiting on the guts to come in from newegg.com.

i just one of the these today along with a new corsair 550w p/s

so far i really like it its a lot better the mid tower i was using, the only problem is there wasn't room for my A/C Freezer 64 Pro so i had to put on the stock cooler and its running a lot hotter then i would like, so now i need a good low profile AM2 cpu cooler.

anyone have any suggestions.

I like all the ideas, but I forgot about mATX. I have an ATX board that I have to transfer over. I think I like the Thermaltake case...

Not the best case... especially for the price. The problem is that it's a very, inefficient case design that starves the CPU area of air as well as using crappy 60mm fans.

If the price was closer to $100 then it would a fair price for it.

Anyways, rocking a Fusion case myself. Love it but I also loved their NSK2480 too. Op, if you need an ATX case then check out Silverstone's LC20. Lovely case too.

I am just using a standard Ultra microfly because I have an mATX HTPC. I was thinking about mITX for a while, but I decided the board choices were too limited and the expandibility would be zero, so it would be difficult to re-purpose a mITX HTPC in the future. Besides, a microfly (black and silver) looks great beneath a PS3 (black and chrome) and a Samsung LCD (black) and a yamaha receiver (black) all on a entertainment stand (black and chrome). The color combination was purely coincidence, too. Stand was several years old. Recievers are mostly black in color. PS3 was about 2 years old and it only comes in one color. Microfly - $15 at a local TD when they got some damaged pieces, and mine happened to be in perfect condition. LCD's are almost exclusively black in bezel color.
