LGA1366 Heatsink

So I read the site and it doesnt say 1366 compatible? Is it just not updated or do I need to get a compatibility kit?

wow, I cant buy it from thermalright directly? lol

It's sold out everywhere..

I prefer the noctua NH-U12P SE1366 over the TRUE. The TRUE wins in performance by 2-4C, but the noctua is much quieter and easier to properly install. The noctua "securefirm2" installation is the best I've ever worked on.

I thought the Noctua beat the True when it was setup as Push/Pull? I plan on putting 104cfm delta fans on mine...lol.

They are working on a 9900, don't know if they are making a new bracket though, and Frozen CPU has a whole bunch of listed 1366 compatible heatsinks and brackets, got my V8 before it was sold out again.

FrozenCPU is showing 26 in stock currently so you should be good to go.

I am using the CM V8 and it's pretty nice... fan on full is very quiet and my load temps at 3.6ghz (1.23v) are under 60c! amazing.

Ive got my Thermalright Ultra-120 eXtreme 1366 RT. Love it. Using the stock intel heatsink on my i7 920 at stock voltages and clock, my CPU temps hit 83 deg after 3 minutes of prime95 stressing and were still rising before i stopped the test. Now my temps are steady at 54 deg under full load. Niiiice.

One note: my buddy has the ultra-120 and he didnt like it because it needed to be cleaned every other week due to the close spacing of the fins.
