Ok im running 2 DNS servers i was wondering if i ever need to clear their DNS cache records. SHould i do it weekly, monthly, or never??

What DNS server?

In reality you shouldn't need to. Older versions of bind limited the amount of cache in RAM. Newer versions keep as much as possible in cache - it should stablize at a reasonable amount after a couple of weeks as the number of new entries dwindles and you just have stale entries leaving/getting refreshed.

Same is true for Windows DNS Server.

Thanks i didnt know if there was every a need to clear them for any reason . They are both Win2K3 DNS servers. And i was reading that DNS entries can get corrupted so didnt know if it was a standard to claer the cache records or not thanks.
