My internet works fine.. I plug my router in and I get no signal on my pc anymore..
The router worked perfectly fine before I moved.. any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

Ps. Bought a new router to see if it was the router.. and it wasn't.

Your post is a bit thin ...

Wired / wireless?
If you have tried a different router and it didn't work either it is probably your PC and not the router.
Do you show a network adapter on your PC ... is it disabled?

can you connect to your router and access the html admin stuff?

you have dsl or cable internet?
if cable... release and renew the IP address in the router.
if dsl... get all the settings reconfigured just in case.

was your computer set to a static IP before, or was the router giving it a dhcp ip address?

what kind of routers areyou playing with here?

Cable internet.

On board ethernet and it's enabled.

I can access the router control panel.

Linksys Wireless G Router.

i agree sounds like router was on a static first time. go to the setup page and release and renew the ip on the router.if your pluged into a cable modem try this first. shut every thing off modem , router pc etc.. then boot them up in order modem 1st router 2nd and pc third. if that doesnt work login to the router and make sure its not set static. or vice versa if ur isp is providing you a static you need to enter it into your router.

I did the reset thing heavenlykid.. I also did the release-renew thing as well and
they didn't work. I took a couple screens to check out.

I never had to put an IP into the router therefore I think it was automatically assigning IP's before.

ok theres your problem ur not getting an IP from your modem. the last screen shoot shows IP as all 0's. did you try clicking the renew button if so what happened. If nothing I would try to plug pc directly into the modem see if it gets online if it does then modem is ok . also do you have modem pluged into routers wan port. also make sure you are not using a crossover cable. more or less something is stoping you router from getting an ip from your modem have you hard reset the router?? also have you reset the modem. if you can get an ip to a pc from the modem but not from the modem to the router its very well possible router is bad. also try updating the router firware. you said it worked until you moved was the router stored in a cold or very hot place. was the router dropped???

Yes I plug my pc directly into the modem and get internet acces.
I clicked the release/renew button(s) and nothing happend.
I use the cable that came with the router( worked before ).
If you unplug the modem for 10ish seconds is that proper reset?
Or is there a reset switch/button on the modem?

The cord is plugged into the wan on the router to the modem.

I bought a new router and it was doing the same thing so that eliminated that.

eww in that case i would call isp provider and tell them you want a new modem
who is your ISP provider??

if Time Warner or Comcast is ISP provider tell them you want new modem. If they try to talk you out of it DEMAND it.
