i read so much about core temperatures, alot of it just doesn't make any sense and conflicts the other stuff what i read. so i hope you guys can be the deciding factor.
i just want to know if these temps are average.

need a little more info.. maybe a screen shot of CPU-Z so we can see what cpu you are running and if its overclocked and what heatsink you have.. then we would be able to help you out more.. but all the temps seem within normal ranges..

Like sirmonkey said, we need some more info about your specs and the kind of cooling you're using, as well as whether these are load or idle temps, in order to figure out whether or not your temps are normal. With that said, those temps are still well within the safe range for Core 2 CPUs, which I'm assuming yours is since you're using a P35 motherboard.

Also, I recommend using Real Temp or Core Temp instead for monitoring CPU temperatures.

sorry about being skimpy on the info. i am using stock cooler and it is overclocked but windows and cpuz contradict each other. btw, my m/b is a x38. i hope the pics should give you the info you need.

CPU-Z is accurate; Windows is assuming that you're using the default multiplier of your CPU, so it thinks it's running at 9x444 when it's actually running at 7x444.

As for your temps, considering the CPU is at idle, they do seem pretty high. Use a program like Prime95 or Orthos to load up your CPU and then post your load temps. Once I know what those are, I'll have a clearer picture of how you're doing.

i just ordered the Xigmatek HDT-S1283 for $30 and now the store contacted me and want another $30 for shipping.

tell em to screw them selves.. no way shipping should cost as much as the product.. and thats very good temps for a stock cooler btw..
