If you have a SLI set up, do you disable SLI if you don't game so that you can save power consumption and heat dispersion?

Yes always leave it enabled. You would only disable it if you need to use more than two monitors (when using 180.xx drivers). Though disabling SLI will leave the second card in idle mode (saving power) I think using Hybrid Power is the way to go (at least till its available on an Intel platform)

I have it off when not gaming to use the second monitor. I can't wait till the 180 drivers are officially released so I don't have to mess with it.

Why not use the betas, there will be no difference in the WHQL or solid drivers, just to far behind that we who are on 180.43 and enjoy them now are on 182.xx then with even more fun:)

Never disable SLI as i have not seen any need to do it yet.

I'm using the 180.43 betas and leave it enabled now they support multi monitor with sli
