Tight budget, looking at refurb systems (Athlon 64 3000+)

So I was wondering if buying the HP DX5150 (http://factorydirect.ca/catalog/product_spec.php?pcode=HP5150) is a good choice. It has an Athlon 64 3000+, socket 939. Will it be enough to play the current games? I'm also thinking about buying the geforce 8800GT and I will only play games in the 1152x864 resolution.

for a $100 bucks that not a bad deal at all. but then again just take out the parts from ur current rig and replace em?
 
I've already brought the parts (AMD Athlon 5000+...). I have to wait at least a week for them since they are coming from BC (British Colombia) all the way to Ontario.

Ok, I'm getting irritated, DirectCanada still hasn't shipped my stuff yet and it's been 2 days... I hope I won't have problems with them.
 
Ok, they were shipped... but I'm worried about something else :p... the mobo's heatsink... I think it's a little high, will it be a problem with the Geforce 8800 GS.
 
Nothing to worry about. Those heatsinks are specifically designed so that they won't block add-in cards from being installed.

this would be way faster than the skt 939 athlon 3000+

Ok, I'm pissed of! I received all the componenents.... except the CPU. Plus the box was damaged... shit...
