Just picked up an Acer One, mostly for remote assistance/management while on the road. Very impressed with the linux distro on it, so I'm going to keep it. I just wondered what apps you guys use for your IT work? I'm hoping there is something similar to the Windows adminpak, or RSAT. I've got terminal services working fine but direct access would be great.

Also, remote assistance - what do you use? Of course there's VNC, but I'm looking for more of a solution like TeamViewer where I can send a simple executable to a 'simple' client.

I use Radmin which emulates perfectly under wine.
You might want to look at one of LogMeIn's paid flavors for remote support. Pretty sure they have linux support on the client side now. Depends on your budget obviously, however.
