Going to get the eVGA GTX 260 fo' sho'.

Only problem is, do I splurge for the regular GTX 260 and OC it, or is it better to get the 216 version? Or, while I'm at it, just splurge and get the GTX 260 WITH factory OC?

Thanks!

If the price difference is minimal get the Pre OC one. Since they are Selected from a batch to be known to run at OC speeds.

Stock 260 are great too, but you always have that small chance that you get one that doesn't oc well.

Thats Basing it off the fact that you want to OC for whatever reason.

I'd go for the OC one if the price differences is under 20 bucks. And prefer to see a different fan on it.
But thats just me; both are great cards and don't require much OC at this point, to aquire great usability.

I'd go with the best priced standard clocked Core 216 you can find if the price difference is minimal and then OC it yourself.

I found the EVGA GTX 260 216 core SC version on Amazon for $288+free shipping. It should be here tomorrow. I thought it was a pretty good price because everywhere else I looked it was $299 or higher and no free shipping.

Edit: That deal is done as they now offer the card for a higher price and through a different vendor. The 192 core SC version can be had for what I paid for the 216 core, so just get the cheapest 216 core you can find and overclock it yourself.
