I feel like a nail sticking out. It doesn't look like many people use their laptops as their main computer.Oh well. I'll post mine next weekend because Mom's on vacation and took my camera.

Your not alone, I sold my old desktop and I'm currently saving up for a new build.

Where did you find those black desks?

Work on the right and play on the left.

Workstation: MacBook Pro, 24" LG monitor.

Playstation: 8-core MacPro, 16GB RAM. 6x Definitive SM450, 16-channel amp, 5.1 Harmon Kardon, Klipsch sub.

Click here in case you're wondering what on earth that science project is.

limxdul, Just wow. That looks hella clean. What desk is that? Must be huge to fit all those monitors on it.

So I posted my room earlier this year and looking at the pictures of it made me realize just how much of a mess the place was. The paint was chipping off the walls, there were holes in the drywall, and my ugly blue carpet had met its match.

Work has been slow so I decided to give myself a project and update this dump. I'm pretty happy with the result so far.. I still have a few things things left to do (build shelves of some sort to get rid of my old DVD stand-thing, zip tie up the wires under the desk that I will surely be beaten for, etc).

Tried my hand at making some shelves:

Had a real screen for awhile, got rid of it in favor of some fancy kind of paint they all seem to like over at AVSForum:

Something to sit in (I promise you, this thing doesn't look THIS hideous in person, not sure what the deal is with it here. I can't lie though, I was limited on choices since my door is 24".)

Hope you guys like it. :D

Its just a 72" long desk frame -- I did some photoshoping and it fit 3 28" monitors fine, its a squeeze, but it can do 3 30" as well.

Very nice... I especially like the painted projector screen.

thespillcanvas what shelf unit is that you've got the 360 in.. looks like exactly what i need

thespillcanvas, what kind of paint is it that you used for the "screen" on your wall?
Can you tell me some more about it?
Thanks

spilcanvas> Very cool setup. I like it a lot. The red would be a nice change from the monotonous white I'm used to. What projector and what size screen?

Nothing exciting. Will post new pics when I've moved into new apartment and have more space. Should have new LCDs too and some more space to put my server up.

I'm still not entirely satisfied with this setup... I've rearranged my room like 3 times since I moved in, in Augest.

Sorry, cell phone takes crappy pics without sun light.

Finally got my Apartment setup the way I like it.

I like your setup...

I have those speakers and I never get tired of seeing other people setups when they're using them.
I also have that same little desk fan... nice fan for it's size.
I love the blue Rocketfish too.

I cleaned up a lot. Now, before some of yall start complaining, I *finally* got a clear, crisp, great looking shot of my monitors. Time for a new camera now! :D

Lost my old login so I'm not completely new. :p

Hope the links paste right as I am a noob at the photoposting. :p

Thanks Nate.

ModerPrimitive: use tags. Your pictures should look like this

[code][img]http://www.flickr.com/photos/21012143@N03/2959315053/in/set-72157608217283100[/im*g] [/code]

When you add the [img] tags, it makes it so that we dont have to click the links. Just take out the " * ". For some reason, code isnt working 100% right
