Hey guys i recently purchased an iphone 3g after i sold my iphone 4gb. I have started college since and realized that i do not need such technology in my phone. As I am a college student and like most others i am broke ;). So, I thought befor putting this on ebay id try the loyal hard forums first. I'd like to get $500 for this (going for 6-800 on ebay still) it is practicallly brand new no scratches had for 3 weeks all accessories/box included.

i will trade for a ps3 60gb + cash as well.

It works only if you are on At&t network. It's locked and there are no software methods to unlock it (except if you use a turboSIM or something of that sort)
 
The iPhone has no contractual commitment, correct? i.e., I could insert my own SIM and I'd be gtg?
 
i Think there are actually some programs to unlock the iphone 3g now. And no unless you buy the iphone from an att&t store you do not need a new contract, a sim card will work just fine. Lets get this thing moved im opened to other trades as well let me know.
 
The 3G phones cannot be unlocked as of yet. You can jailbreak them but they can't be software unlocked yet. The only way to unlock them right now is with a TurboSIM type setup.

my zipcode is 62650 pms replied to bump.. keep offers coming! still going for 6-800 on ebay so i think 500 is reasonable!!
 
Guess I got lucky and got a 16gb 3g off craiglist (gotta love that place) for $500. Good luck bump.
 
You can Unlock and Jailbreak with winpwn google it.

500 is a great price. wish I had the money.

I use my 1st Gen 8gb for almost everything.
