Post what phone you use and why you like it. You can also post your phone history if you'd like. I'll start.

I never really liked cell phones and finally got one when I was 22. This is my second phone to date (had a Motorola V180 before).

Sony Ericsson W610i

It's perfect for me. I don't text/browse the web but it's great for talking and listening to music on. Camera ain't too shabby either.

I've got a blackberry 8830 WE from work that I LOVE! and a katana for personal

Verizon xv6700. Went from WM5.0 to 6.0 to 6.1. I'd trade it up, but so far just haven't found a compelling reason to since I can get the latest OS and custom build it the way I like (ppcgeeks).

I've got one of the original Razrs (you know, from when they were still cool). It even says 'Cingular' on the back. :)

I have a Blackberry 8830 World Edition running Beta OS 4.5.0.77 w/ Desktop Manager 4.6.

Using a BlackJack II atm, just updated to Windows Mobile 6.1 the other day.

I had both the orginal iphone and the 3g iphone... I really like the phone but dropped calls/reception on them isn't good at all... I finally gave up for now and put em up on ebay. The blackjack gets fantastic reception.

SE P1i! this thing is great and i got it right when it was released! looking forward to the new SE full touch screen phone ( lol i dont like full touch screen phone much because i like a keypad or a keyboard more... but hell! that thing looks pretty kool! ) but i dunno if i will get it... i m those ppl just use the phone til it breaks then i will get a new one =/

I have a Nokia N95!! not too shabby
i haven´t got too much time to play with it yet, but i´m looking forward to mess around with it!!! :)

Samsung SCH-U540

Got it for free from Verizon after I had my other phone for 3 years or so. It's alright...

The original Sanyo Katana. Does what I needed it to do back then, but now, not so much.

Plan on upgrading to a Motorola Q9c. Sprint has done well by me thus far so I can't say I have reason to turn to other carriers.

iPhone 3G (16GB Black)

What I like:

Visual Voicemail - this feature alone is almost worth it
Huge Screen - Great for watching videos on the subway
Safari Browser - Simply the best mobile browser overall, IMO.
iPod in my Phone - There's an iPod in my phone! 'nuff said.

What I don't like:

Instability - Supposed to be fixed in tomorrow's 2.1 update, but we shall see.
No Flash - Not as huge of a deal as I expected it to be, but it's still a bummer not to be able to visit some of my favorite sites like Gametrailers.
Tied to iTunes - I hate iTunes. I loathe it. Yet, I have to use it to sync data and media to my phone. It makes me sad.

Started with a Motorola V551. After about 4 months it got ran over by a gokart.

So instead of shelling about +300$ for a new one, I bought an unlocked RAZR V3 instead.

I finally got rid of the RAZR after over 3 years when Apple released the iPhone 3G.

Now I've got my wonderful black 16GB iPhone 3G.

Also, I used a BlueTrek G2 headset with the V551 and RAZR, and I bought myself a Jawbone 2 when I got the iPhone.

I had the Invisible Shield on the RAZR. My iPhone has an Invisible Shield screen protector and an Incase Slider.

Now that we have this forum section, I would love to see a "Post your cell phone number!" thread.

It would be on topic but I bet it would last like 5 minutes.

I have a shitty old Sprint Sanyo VI-2300.

Motorola KRZR (Red) edition. Any phone that i can kick into a wall and drop into water and have it still work is a great phone imo.

I have the Samsung i730.

It's huge, its heavy, Windows locks up, and the call quality it pretty bad.

Samsung U100.

World's thinnest phone - 5.9mm thick. Also not sold in the US.

Fits my needs absolutely perfectly. I don't need any extras the other phones offer, and it's very comfortable to hold in my pocket. Oh, and it looks awesome.

Except mine's the darkred version with ruRU keys.

edit: To anyone wondering, some simple specs:

Tri-band GSM (w/ EDGE)
80mb onboard memory
3.2 megapixel camera
All standard capabilities (music/video playback, voice recorder, etc.)

Samsung A-737 (I have the blue one, my wife has the orange one) from AT&T. works great. I got a 1GB micro sd card for extra storage. Plays my mp3 great

No gripes about WM5, or the phone really. Verizon is pretty solid. I wish, though, that the little SD card I have was more tolerant of heavy R/W activity... I've worn the SD card out switching podcasts out daily on it lol.

I have a SE w900 since 04 or 05..
will probably upgrade to a Nokia n96 or Samsung INNOV8..

and I hope that soon, Newegg will carry more brands of unlocked phones..

Sony Ericsson w810i Unbranded, its about ready to kick the bucket as I dropped it a lot while biking, gonna go for the replacement insurance plan to ride out the rest of my contract. Then...

Thinking a Nokia N85, 3g, wifi, agps/turn navigation, fm transmitter, 5mp. I was thinking iPhone for a while, but I don't like the touchscreen keyboard and I can't change music tracks without looking at the screen if its the back of a bike jersey and I don't like the idea of using iTunes to sync...

Hoping to tie it to outlook calendar/todo/notes, and find a RDP or VNC client for Symbian, basically a laptop in a phone :)

I've still got a Motorola I880. It's a great phone for it's age, and has a great cam as far as phones go.

The wife has a Pearl.

I've owned my Samsung Blast for about a year and have enjoyed it quite a bit. I prefer slider phones over flip as I've always had issues answering calls on a flip...

Has a very basic camera, video recorder, and music player. Color scheme is quite nice as well.

I have the HTC S730 currently. Waiting for ATT to get the Touch pro so I can dump it.

Overall I really like the 730, great form factor, wonderful keyboard, and plenty can be done with it.

However from the Pre production to production models HTC cut GPS from it without talking about it (grrrr) and there is a memory leak that causes me to have 14mb of free memory after a fresh boot of 64 total O_O.
