Hey, is that a special theme for Ubuntu? I'm new to Linux, and downloading Ubuntu to put on a second computer I have and try it out, and I love the way yours looks. I know I sound like a noob, haha, but I'm just not sure if it comes looking that way, or if you got a special theme for it. If it's the latter, do you mind sharing with me what theme it is? Thanks a bunch.

While on Deviant Art, you can search for "Wood Wallpapers" and come across some really good ones... some of the ones I used for patterns as a matter of fact.

I kind of went crazy after you told me how to do the reflections now I just can't stop making things :p I thank you for the inspiration.

Oh yeah, the dock sucks compared to windows taskbar. I mean yeah, I've used to envy the look of mac too, but after using it for school windows taskbar is far superior than the dock.

current setup


Im tryning the side taskbar to see how it works. Better than top so far. The icons tell me what program is running fine, and the first letter is enough to tell me which IRC window is which. Also more space for quicklaunch. And with it being a widescreen it takes up less valuable screen real estate even. Its wierd having the start menu be on the left though. May try the bar on the right to see if thats better.,,

illuminate: wallpaper image?
edit: nm. Found it. native is only 1440x900. :(
