Was using an XFX 8600GT XXX edition 256Mb card, then went to an EVGA 8800GT (G92 core) SSC card.

1 x 8600 GT 256MB
3 x 8800 GTX 768MB
2 x 8800 Ultra 768MB
2 x 8800 GT (G92) 512MB
1 x 8800 GT 1GB
2 x 9600 GT 512MB
2 x 9800 GTX 512MB

Out of all these cards a single 9600 GT does everything I need it to do at the resolution I play at, including gaming.

9600GT....great card for the money.

I don't play games much anymore(don't have the time) and I don't play at crazy resolutions but i'm able to max out the settings for the games I do play.

9800GX2 (primary) and 7900GTX (secondary) so that I don't have to take my main card out of dual-GPU mode to run my other monitor. Makes a nice mess of my PSU wires (tons of adapters, 6-pin to 8-pin and dual molex to 6-pin) but is generally worth it.

i assume you have the ones that are currently supported folding for [H]?

8000gt? never heard?

almost everyone haven't upgraded to the 9800s or the 4800s? lots of people with old technology...:(:D

8800gt is not old tech, its the same core as 9800gtx.

I have 2x 8800gt SLI in one machine, 4850 in the other

MSI 8800 GTX which is really starting to stretch it's legs now that I've upgraded to 19x12 from 12x10 :D

I've only really been playing WoW on my PC for the past few years so I've lagged behind on my GPU. At the moment I'm running on 2 x XFX 6800XT cards that are several years old now. My inability to run anything modern is getting to me recently however, and I think it's time for an upgrade. Money can't stretch to a 280 right now (just moved in to a new apartment) but I'm thinking a 9800 will do me just fine.

cards currently in use

1 Radeon 8500
1 Radeon 1800XL
1 Radeon 4870
1 pos Nvidia 8400GS-M in a Vostro 1400......counting the days that it still manages to live....

I have:
6800 GT in a Shuttle
7900GTX in my daughter's
8800 GTs in SLi for my son
1 internet surfer with a 7600 GT

My gaming computer has 4870s in Crossfire, waiting for an X2 for tripleX.

x800xt, 6800gt, and 8500LE all in use all AGP systems. Yes, I need to upgrade badly.

Im still running my 8800gts 320mb. I really want to upgrade this round but I don't want to spend $300 on a 260. I will probably wait til the next round comes out and get whatever the upper midrange card is from EVGA (Amazing lifetime warranty ftw).

Im running an old 7900GTX but have a GTX260 superclocked in the mail and on the way... :p

still on my 8800GTXs (SLi) .. these cards perform so well 1920x1080 with eye candy on.. they are just starting to seem to be a little long in the toogh though.. I think I bought my first one in Nov2006 and my second in Feb2007. lol.

I am debating going for a pair of 260GTXs or getting one 4870 X2. /me taps fingers and rolls eyes upwards
