Ordering new laptop online tomorrow.

Tomorrow I am ordering a new laptop online for my dad. I've been thinking Dell because of the customization options available through their website. Should I be looking at other brands, do they offer the same customization?
 
Other brands do let you customize the machines online as well. Lenovo, Fujitsu, HP, and others will all let you customize the machines online. Dell is not bad but I would recommend a Lenovo Thinkpad over almost anything Dell offers. Check others out and get the one that fits your needs for the price you are willing to pay.

Now I'm looking at this HP DV7T that just came out a little over a week ago. Of course I can't find any reviews of it, and HP barely has any pictures of it available.
