I recently purchased a Evga Nvidia 6200 LE 256mb ddr2 for $20 on craigslist. I am very disappointed in the performance of this card. It cannot play cs source at the bear minimum resolution

Additionally, this card has a problem with watching abc and fox streaming videos at 1920x1200 resolution, constantly stuttering. How am I suppose to get my Hell's Kitchen groove on at the fox web site if it keeps stuttering? It does play dvds fine so what's up with that? I called evga tech. They were helpful at first but then asked me where I bought the card, and when I told them craigslist they hung up on me. Oh well, only two more weeks or so and I'll be replacing this thing with a 4870x2. I hate the waiting game. :(

Dude, you expect too much off a crappy used card. No warranty for 2nd hand stuff, only for the original owner... I would have hung as well if I knew you got it off CL or ebay.

what did you expect from the lowest of the low end of a very old card? crysis on max settings?

well if its true they shouldn't have hanged up on you, they should have just explained the situation professionally.

I'd log right in to their website and apply for a step-up to a 6800GT...

Probably right, I expected too much, but I did expect to play some of my older games with this card. This thing won't even play hitman silent asassin...or regular cs...just tried. I knew this was low end...but you would think it would be able to play older games.

Next time explain you're from the [H] forum. Then they won't think you're a noob for buying a 6200 ;) lol.

Ok, this card can't play games...but aside from gaming...what gets me is that dvd playback is perfectly fine, yet streaming videos from fox and abc stutter. You tube videos are fine as well. Maybe it's a driver issue.

I don't know what that had to do with anything but if you wanna flame bait about AMD and Intel hit up the cpu section there's lots of discussion there

wow... i think i have an old 6800 that after market cooler that has been sitting around. If you want to play crysis at 1920x1200.. let me know, i can send it to you for free (you pay shipping of course).
No seriously I have a junk 6800 sitting around collecting dust.

No, it's a codec issue and has nothing to do with the video card.

<sarcasm>
Epic Failure threads fail epically....

The [H] laughs at your stupidity or blatant trolling, OP

Didnt this guy just get banned from the evga forums for being a troll??Your OP was pretty pathetic..

Damn,this guy needs a life..

No, but he is 1 step away from being banned over there. He seems to like nothing better than stirring up trouble.

Oh and Big Cactus, a 6200 is NOT a gaming card, period . Minimum from the 6 series would be a 6600 for gaming.

That's pretty rude man, I don't think I have personally insulted anyone in this thread...this kind of talk is beneath me, and is really the type of comment that someone makes to cover up their inadequacies.

Ah but you have. You come to [H] yapping about a vid card that doesn't even meet low-end gaming standards and nowhere close to being enthusiast. I'd say you're being an instigator to get blatantly angry reactions for your lack of respect for those here or just chiding people on to give you insults that so you may play the "I'm sad I came here" game. Any way you look at it, you have no credibility at the moment.

Mod or Admin: Please lock this thread if possible. It's flying the BS flag without abandon.

Just get another 6200 ... pretty sure 6200 SLI blows everything away.

Whatever, this card was just to hold me over. I'll just sell it for $20 and get rid of it I guess. It's not bad for $20. If it handled streaming videos then it would be worth keeping.

Not sure if you'll see much of a performance improvement going from 6200 to a 4870x2. You may want to wait for the next gen.

Again, like someone said, streaming videos on the internet has hardly anything to do with this video card. More along the lines of a software-related (i.e. codecs!)

Make sure let the person buying it don't expect to play Crysis with this card :D

BigCactus, your unbelievable man, weren't you going on about the gtx 280 and praising the shit out of it and how you were gonna get one very soon blah blah blah...just recently over at evga forums? you make no sense to me.

Yea,at least then you could keep busy with online porn instead of trolling forums.

I'll let him know he won't be able to crank up the AA for crysis :D. This card is PCIE and I am running it in my abit ix38 quad GT setup in my sig BTW. So this card was made much later then the 6600gt AGP cards were. I guess they didn't update them. I'll be posting a 3dmark 06 score with this card shortly...:p.
