Anybody notice EVGA adjusted the prices for stepup today. What do you think the chances of me getting a price adjustment are, I'm number 14 in line, but am past 90 days now.

Not complaining, just wonder if anyone else has/will try to get an adjustment.

Cool, thanks for the heads up. Those prices are looking much more appealing now.

Oh hell yes this rocks I was so hoping this would happen. Now my step up is only going to cost me $100 extra instead of $240 extra. SWEET!!

If your step-up has NOT shipped yet, they will adjust the price i have learned. I'm going to get a 260 for the total of $10.88.

EVGA you just won a customer for life you bastards.

Too late.Sent in my payment because I was out of time. :( Pity.......

I'm wondering this too... I just sent in my payment yesterday... :(

If your card hasn't been shipped from the EVGA offices then you'll get the new price.

I was going to step-up to the 260 because I couldn't justify the $650 price tag on the 280 and some people said that the MSRP's never change for step-up. Glad I waited, I only have about 10 days left. Just placed my order for the 280...#312 in the queue :D

Just cancelled both of my 260 stepups. Still have 31 days left to decide if i wanna stick with my 4870 crossfire setup or go back to sli 280. WHY MUST YOU TAUNT ME SO EVGA!

wow.... evga forums look like a mess with the msrp change..

Basically breakdown for all step up people:

1. If you already have your new step up card. YOUR TRANSACTIONS COMPLETE No refunds/credits.

2. If you are in process of step up you will get teh new adjusted price..

I bet its a mad house at EVGA right now with all the calls complaints and backwork readjusting lots of orders....:eek::eek:

kinda feel bad for evga..

That's sweet! I sent my 9800 GTX on Monday and it is scheduled to get there tomorrow.

I can throw a hell of a party with $150. Or buy that HD DVR I've been eyeing.:D
