Please read below for new updates

First let me say that this thread will be directly linked to the person's negative feedback comment.

Riddlinkidstoner
- Worst buying experience from this seller!

Cliff notes: I paid 6/19, as of 7/8 I did not receive ANYTHING.
Seller does not communicate or update on anything, I must PM him every time to get one response.
Seller is careless, simple mistake such as shipping it to the wrong address (when he knows media mail will take like 7 business days).
Seller had a chance to ship twice, twice he did not fulfill his promise to ship on time.

LONG VERSION:
I am LIVID! I cannot believe how bad a seller can be, I have everything well documented. I paid the seller on June 19th for a CPU, it's a .5 ounce product, but he does not want to ship it priority, fine I agree to the slower method. He promises to ship the item 6/20, does not ship the product on 6/20 and he did not update me if he shipped the product at all until I pm'd him.
He claims product was shipped 6/21, but I had to PM him 6/24 to get a response.

So on 7/1, he tells me that the package was returned to him because he put in an invalid address, at this point I was already mad, I waited 12~ days to hear that from him! Fine, I accepted it and he said he'll ship it out priority with delivery confirmation. So fine, I confirm the address with him again (he can easily check on paypal). On 7/2 I PM'd him again asking if he shipped out the CPU he said he has no time and will ship out tomorrow, GREAT! MORE DELAYS! I accept the fact that this guy is careless and lazy I just want my CPU. So if he shipped it out on 7/3 with priority I should've received this package today or tomorrow. Also, on 7/4 he pm'd me and told me it was shipped and he will (once again) provide me with the DC # which he never did.. obviously.

He's the worst seller EVER, he said he'd ship it priority with dc I was hoping to get a DC # from him to track it, nothing!

Overall whether I get my package or not, I am HIGHLY HIGHLY disappointed, he inconvenienced me a lot, offered nothing to make things right and just put me through more stress since i'm on my sister's slow laptop, and i've been out of my computer for about 3 weeks. This is just a lot of grief and I will definitely be leaving a negative feedback.

So he had the chance to ship it not ONCE, but TWICE, and BOTH TIMES he did not meet the promise day to ship the item.

My fellow [H]'ers please chime in if you agree with the negative, and if you don't please explain why.

and FYI: I'm not saying he's a scammer, but he's the worst seller ever.

UPDATE 7/11/2008: There is no way that the item would not be shipped to me by now if it was shipped 7/3 with priority as he said. He posted a response to this thread and clearly showed he had nothing to back himself up. He read my post yet made no effort to give me even just a delivery confirmation #. I cannot believe how bad this seller is, it's starting to look like a scam now just based on these facts.

I e-mailed him yesterday and still no response. Last Activity: Today 11:33 AM

"Yes its shipped out. I'll get you the tracking tomorrow as I'm off today and its sitting on my desk :p"

WOW! he outright lied to me, he shipped the CPU when I posted this thread on 7/8. THAT's when the shipment was made.

I filed a dispute on paypal and he finally leaves me the UPS tracking # and says "my mistake"

http://wwwapps.ups.com/WebTracking/p....x=0&track.y=0

Riddlinkidstoner, this is pure bullshit, I am sick and tired of this. This CPU better be working and I want 50% of what I paid to come right back to me.

Man up to your mistakes, I shouldn't have to post a thread on HardForums for you to actually "SHIP" the package. I SHOULDNT have to file a claim for you to respond to me.

Here's the seller's response on paypal claim message:

From Seller - (real name removed @ Oldie's request)

Yes I had other packages shipped that day and I assume yours was in it. What can I tell you? Your the only one out of all my transactions that is having issues and I'm sorry.

You can even ask grannyring on [H]. He received his item just fine.

Like I said before, I was having schedule issues. You will receive your item on the 15th.

That's all he can say after he inconvenienced me for a month, I want half refund, since the promise wasn't met therefore the CPU does not retain it's original value.

Now a little bit about my selling practices:

Mind you, I have a full time job also, so that's not a good excuse for not shipping unless you stated it in your FS thread already, IMHO.

I have never ignored anyone's private message, whether you lowballed me or was completely off topic, haha, I still responded to each one politely and professionally.

I've always shipped out products the same day (business days or Saturday w/ USPS). No matter the price of the product I've shipped it with Priority w/ DC and PM'd my buyers to provide them with information and updates.

Hopefully the ones who bought from me can chime in and vouch for me.

I've shipped a $10 item with Priority and Delivery Confirmation.

One day I came home and received the money order from a buyer and it was past 5PM, I searched for a Post Office that opened to 7PM, drove and shipped it there. This was just for a $25 item.

Now I do not expect everyone to do things the same way I do, but please can we be a little more courteous?

If you've dealt with me before, whether you have criticism or praises, please feel free to add your experience to this thread, thanks!

According to what you've said, I would definitely leave him with a negative. I myself would not like to deal with people like that.

Yep leave him negative heat so you can warn others...
Sorry for your troubles.

I'm in the middle of a very similar situation... asked my seller for a paypal address, and he replies with it and a promise to ship within 24 hours of payment. send my payment immediately, and he responds immediately with a will ship within 24-48 hours (!?!). After 6 days of no contact I get fed up and send him a polite PM asking what the deal was. This fucker actually had the audacity to tell me to be patient(!) after he broke his promise to ship on time. Thankfully for me I don't need the product in a timely manner like you, but still, what is it with these kids? Even if I don't get scammed, I'm still leaving negative feedback. The one thing I'm worried about is him tarnishing my good reputation because of it...

He cannot leave retaliatory feedback on heatware, if that's what you're afraid of.

This is,of course, not correct. Anyone can leave retaliatory feedback at anytime they choose. If this happens to you it will be up to you to TRY to get it removed. HEAT23 keeps up Heatware of his own accord and is not paid to do so.

Please do nt let this keep you from leaving the appropriate feedback. Just be prepared to have to fight to have any retaliatory feedback removed ...

I had the same worry, which is why I posted on here and i'm going to reference it to this thread, I don't trade much, but when I do, I try to do my best.

Feedback systems are obviously inherently flawed no matter how you look at them, but what can be done? So in the meantime, YES, leave your negative for this chap, and do so in a precise and explanatory manner. I understand that when things like this happen that all many people can see is red, but when people post feedback that reflects this, it only clouds the vision for the rest of us.

Also, don't post feedback for the item until you have it in hand. I understand that you believe the seller to be honest, merely irresponsible, but bear in mind that this DOES resemble a scam.
Excuses? Unverified/unexplained delays? Non-sustainable tracking number? Refusal to ship priority?
(Looks like a duck...?)

I'm not saying this is your fault, but you would have been well served to ask for a refund after the seller claimed the package was returned. : /
Even if you do get your package (good luck), don't go easy on this guy in feedback just because you "got it at least," be clear, be honest and be complete in your commentary.

yup anyone can leave heatware and it wont even get changed (unless you are very lucky) ive requested 2 heats be removed from people and it never happened.. that was almost a year ago now..

i have tough time shipping stuff off as well.. i have full time job and 2 kids and wife works as well.. sometimes i even have to watch my wifes friends kids )#*%* so getting stuff mailed is tough with out flat rate box home pickup.. but one thing i have to ask is.. was the price that good that you choose to buy off "riddlin stoner kid" ? ive bought stuff off tons of people and none of them had a nick as bad as that!

not sure to leave neg heat or not ive not heard from him on his excuses and the price of this cpu.. (makes a diff to me.. expensive cpu leave neg for sure)

Pretty much same situation. Sorry about everything but you can leave neg heat if you want. You should receive it soon. I've been trading here for almost two years and while I've been slow to ship it sometimes, I havent screwed anyone yet. Especially for $35.

Oh well.

And as far as my nickname, you don't know anything about me so I'd stfu.

I mean jesus what do you want from me? I work full time and I have other crap to do so I can't spend my time surfing hardforums anymore like I used to so if I'm slow to respond I'm really sorry but what can I do?

I just sold my kingrex amp to someone here on [H] and they got it just fine.

Ridlin, I understand that you have difficulties in your situation, but if you are in this situation you really don't have any business trying to sell items on the forums in the time you clearly don't have. You've said that $35 isn't anything worth screwing someone over, but the reality is that it's creeping up on a month that you've had the buyers cash and he's still item-less. He looks pretty screwed to me at this point. -_-

If you were at ALL concerned about your trading reputation in the first place, as soon as you realized that issues were arising with shipping, or even when the package was allegedly returned to you, you should have issued a refund complete with an apology. At least the buyer whom you've caught up in whatever mess you are personally in (by virtue of your failure to fulfill your obligation as a seller to ship in a timely manner) could have brushed himself off and debated leaving neutral feedback for you while he moved on to someone who was actually willing to ship the item he wanted to buy.

And as far as my nickname, you don't know anything about me so I'd stfu.
Erm, no offense, but what are you expecting people to think? Being defensive and crude about it isn't going to do anything but confirm whatever suspicions people might already have about you.
Think about it. Your "nickname" is one of the very first pieces of information that everyone gains to associate you with, so make it something you WANT to be associated with. If you don't want us to think you're an 19 year-old ADHD kid who smokes marjuana, get a new name.
I mean jesus what do you want from me? I work full time and I have other crap to do so I can't spend my time surfing hardforums anymore like I used to so if I'm slow to respond I'm really sorry but what can I do?
We want you to grow up and put on your big-boy pants. If you want to be a seller on [H], that comes with an obligation set (as does selling things anywhere). Included in that responsibility set are things like: 1. Checking for messages regarding the item and 2. Shipping in a timely manner. If you can't do those two things at the very least, you don't need to be a seller.
I just sold my kingrex amp to someone here on [H] and they got it just fine.
Amazing. How did he manage to get an AMP of all things when the OP still doesn't have the item in question?
*Boggles at the concept*

Guys, this forum is not for arguing, particularly when one of you wasn't involved in this at all. Also, telling someone to STFU is not encouraged around here. Basic respect for other forum members rule #1.

I'm going to close this before some people get themselves into trouble. If either of the involved parties want to add anything, a quick PM to a mod will reopen the thread.

I have to chime in on this. That is no excuse. I work full time, moderate over here, have a daughter in girlscouts that I an always taking to events, and run a couple other forums myself as an admin and I still manage to keep communication and get my packages shipped in a timely manner. If you cant be a responsible trader dont sell on these forums anymore simple as that. If you cant handle work and trading I will help you out by removing your trading privledges.

as for your name, what do you expect people to think? Thats like me bitching cause someone says Im a disturbance LOL. Goes with the name ;)

I have a simple solution for you: stop selling! No one cares how busy/sad/overworked/stoned you are. If you cannot ship on time, quit selling and find another way to supplement your income. Also, you appear to be so stingy as not to pay a few cents difference between Parcel and Priority. I won't be surprised if you actually overpaid, as sometimes Priority is cheaper than Parcel. You could have spent $2 to send it 1st Class mail with DC.

The sooner you disappear from any trading forums, the better. Make everyone here a favor and get lost.

Recently Priority and 1st Class have been extremely fast (2-3 days from the West to the East coast), but don't forget that Priority is not a guaranteed service. I've seen it take 15 days from my neighboring state. 7-8 days would be very unusual, but not impossible. Did he send you the DC number? Lately the USPS have been updating the status en route, so you can see where your package was last.

Maybe it's lost in the mail. I had a package come ~15 days later than it should've because the seller wrote the wrong zip code. It wasn't even way off either, it was like in another district in the same city.

I'm not going to say that's not a possibility, but if the seller shipped priority with delivery confirmation on 7/3 and he said he was going to provide me one, YET, he didn't even after seeing this thread, what are the chances?

Sounds like a scamming pos to me. Sure he shipped it out but was that 35 dollor cpu really worth all the trouble. He better give u half your money back.

UPS says the item is 10lb..... is a CPU really going to weight 10lbs? Maybe it's a bomb.;)

Well, the seller is clearly in the wrong here but the buyer is also whiney...I wouldn't want to deal with either of them. A week is a reasonable time to ship something and it looks like the buyer freaked out within a few days.

if i paid someone for something on 6/20 and until now i haven't receive it i'll be very tick off too. it's understandable the buyer is pissed off. buyer was told it'll be ship out the next day and it hasn't he has reason to be pissed off.

i say file a claim and right a loooooooooong negative feedback..

Its a shame it came to this to get him to respond and ship your package.
it looks like this will end with you getting your CPU and thats a good thing.
The feedback you leave is up to you, but whatever feedback you leave, please be sure to include the details of the transaction, so if you get a bad feedback in return, other people will be able to see that for what it is...retaliatory.

A week to ship? I hope never to buy anything from you. Is this place become the refuge of shitty traders that won't make it on other forums?

I freaked out in a few days? I paid on 6/19, I waited up until 7/8 (about 3 weeks) to make a thread about it, I didn't get super pissed until today 7/11 (and that's because he failed to ship on 3 promise dates AND he lied and said he shipped the package on 7/3 when the tracking clearly shows 7/8 AND he was unable to provide a tracking #). You want to clarify what a few days is?

By the time I receive my package (should be 7/15), I am 4 days away from paying for a month to get what I paid for, If the seller has any decency or want to make things right, he should refund half of what I paid for.

this calls for a negative. make sure u post a link to this thread about it. If he leaves u retalitory heat, email them and inform them of this thread. If your too busy then quit trading.

I'm not really sure if I ever had a deal that merited a negative. I've had a few slow shippers and the worst involved a $10 cpu,but even he eventually shipped it out. The worst deal was with me as a seller. I sold a known good motherboard cpu , and the guy said it was ng. I told him to send it back, and I would refund his money. He wanted his money back WITHOUT returning the parts. I told him no way, and that's the last I heard. Everyone else always took care of me in a timely manor. I guess the thing I hate the worst, is slow communication. I use the speed of a reply to judge if I want to deal or not. One other thing that's tough, is you really don't know the experience the buyer has. I guess with over 110 trades, I've been pretty lucky not to hit a dud. Then again,I do my homework BEFORE I get involved in a deal of any signifigence.

WTFYou've got to be kidding me, I'll make sure to place you on my DNS/DNB list. Thanks for the heads up though.

If you realize that you've missed something in the post (time frame that the buyer waited before posting here) and possibly made a premature response, please correct your post and I would be happy to consider doing business with you in the future.

A week is a reasonable time to ship out? That is crazy!

I always ship next day with the things I sold on ebay. If not, I have a friend do the drop off for me. If you wait a week and add time for it to ship and in some cases weekend delays, your looking at 9 to 14 or more days for an item to arrive instead of 3-5days. I'll be sure to never buy from you JCDenton.

Don't you guys love how theres so much new information yet the seller responds to none of them?
