Ever stop and think maybe your chip is maxed out?
Ever stop and think maybe your chip is maxed out?
i've tried higher and lower volt with no luck.voltage?
they're not even running as fast as they can with those steppings.memory....?
oh yeah its nice alright.Shit getting over 3ghz from a 1.8 stock chip is a nice overclock in anyone's book. At least I think that is the stock clock for your cpu...E4300? Bah, too lazy to check, If I am wrong, I will get corrected by one of our forum super dudes
i'll have to check that and come back, sounds like that could be the problemHave you checked to see what the max FSB your motherboard will run at stable.
You might already be at the max.
I had the same thing with an E2160 and IP35-E a couple of weeks back, it also got to just over 3GHz with near a 330MHz bus.
Further testing revealed the motherboard wouldnt work at higher FSB.

Yep 1,8GHz stock.

if its the FSB, is the only way to get more out of it is to get a mobo that allows higher FSB?
edit: Spec says 1066MHz FSB, so probably maxed out.
is there more than one way?how have you tested the motherboards max FSB?
is there more than one way?
anyways i lowered everything else and raised it, stressed, raised, stress. wouldnt post on anything higher
lol, just making sure you did it like that instead of some other way you found...
but, if the max you're getting is that 330, i'm thinking that its the max the motherboard can hit
