The Silverstone Gallery *post your Silverstone case here*

My TJ03, I refuse to get rid of this case through several generations of builds, it's a timeless design.

Gorgeous look...

If you want to tinker (I love to cut cases, I can't bring myself to do the outside of my TJ-07 (ermmm why would I?)) you could cut a nice blow 140mm blow hole and top it off with a very discrete AC Ryan grill.

50$ says you see a great drop in temps, plus its a nice way to spend a few hours.

At any rate... great look bro

I have a 120mm fan attached to a 120>>80mm adapter up top at the moment, might eventually mod the top to accommodate dual 120mm in the event I internally mount a WC rad up there.

To all TJ07 Users?

Does the TJ07 have any sort of harddrive vibration noises?

my current generic case has a lot of harddrive vibration, heck I can even hear in while in room period,

if the Tj07 does have harddrive vibration are they only some sort of pads I can use on then harddrives to make it go away?

Cheers to all that reply!

Hard to say as I never used the stock drive racks.
I removed those right away to make room for the watercooling bits.

I can say that a Coolermaster 4in3 drive unit (stock piece in the Stackers) works wonderfully in the TJ...I hardly ever hear my 5 drives- even during defrag.
Of course, the type of drive you have will make a big difference as well.

My Seagate is quite in my TJ-07... my raptor is not.... thus I think it has everything to do with the drive type.

thanks for replying guys,

I have 2 Samsungs (C: D: drives) and 2 Seagates (E: F: drives)

thats really the only thing I am worried about when getting this case, has it drives me up the wall.

modded a fan controller to look stock at the top, and painted the grills red. Later I'll add a 5.25'' silenced hard drive, and a 120mm blowhole in the top.

Isn't the apogee drive supposed to come with a rad/res combo?

My TJ07 Case, glad I finally have it, sorry for the lack of photography skills,

Cable Managament, best I could do for now, in the coming weeks, I plan to hide the cables more, but for now this is fine.

maybe I missed it...but any TJ08 owners lurking around here?

I'm determined to create a very sexy custom watercooling setup in Silverstone's beauty of a mATX case and just wanted to know if someone had already tackled the idea.

super sexy super clean. that is sick. How long did it take for you to put up all that sound dampening foam?

the full specs are:

ubuntu 8.04 on
evga 750i ftw
q6600 at 3.2 ghz
4g of ram
8800gt
raptor 150 gig for os and apps and a 500 gig for data.

wc apparel is an xspc res top on a ddc
xspc acryllic edge on the cpu and the 8800
1x black ice gt stealth 120 and 1x black ice gt stealth 240 with yate loons on them.
7/16 black tygon on 1/2 inch barbs.

This was the first wc build I ever did and I've been extremely happy with it, though I plan to throw some modders mesh over that nasty green pcb on the vid card. I wish I had had the foresight to order a vid card with black pcb.

How are your CPU/GPU temps with that setup?

I'm considering a watercooling setup for my Q6600/HD4870 is why I ask and your 8800GT isn't THAT much cooler then my card.

the temps on my cores fluctuate between 32 and 38 at idle, I think this is dependant on the temperature of the room. my 8800gt idles at 39c. I think these could be lower because I have the 120 in a push config. I think if I had it pulling in air from the outside those temps would be much better, but I'm feeling super lazy and dont want to fool with it. I'll likely get around to that someday though.

Very good work simply for the routing of the tubing in the cramped spaces Extreme Techinist, but the wire management (or lack thereof) is enough to keep me far far away from that case.

To each there own though, and you've done well.

Meant to post this a lot earlier. Have to put some more recent pictures though:

Well, water cooling a mATX case is a feat in itself... and most mATX cases don't have much in the way of cabling.

old wc setup

newer setup w/ no fans (at all)

even newer setup w/ some crap fans

Agreed...looks very nice indeed...and it's really nice to see someone using the HR-07's...sexy memory heatsinks. :D

Just did my yearly system update a little early this year . . . most everything is set but I'm probably not done as I'm still eyeing the Corsair 1000w PSU. Here it is for now:
