Hi All,
Please see my sig for my config.
I installed Thermalright HR-03GT on 8800GT, Since then i dont seem to have display, I have tried CMOS, took all components out and tried it with one hdd, 2gb ram and basic components no use. The GPU fans spins, but no display
Currently i am using a PCI VGA Card so the LCD is definitely working.
All inputs are welcome :(

Reset the GPU in its slot and make sure 6pin pci-e plug from PS is connected. Take battery out for few mintues with PS unplugged from wall then reset the CMOS. When you power up, try with only 1 stick of memory.

If that doesnt work, only other way is to try another computer. GL and let us know how it goes.

I'm assuming the 8800 worked before changing the heatsink? I'd try the second DVI port. Is it just no display (can you see the HD being accessed like it's trying to bootup?) or is it no boot? Maybe remount the original HSF on the card and retry.

It'd definately help to be able to try the card in another system.

Try clearing out the CMOs with jumper. Boot the machine with minimal changes to bios. Hope it helps.

Hi All,
Sorry for not keeping you updated. I tried All. I took all components out from the cabinet and tried running GPU, no display, Tried CMOS, Hard CMOS, no display, tried GPU on a different PC still no display. Re-installed STOCK EVGA Heatsink back On still no display, I dont see anything on screen. The LCD goes in "power Safe" mode and strange is that the GPU FAN spins fine lol.
I already RMAed to EVGA US.
Thanks all.

No sir, i dont see anything, LCD goes in "Power safe Mode" instantly....
Tried all, RMAed GPU already....

I assume that you turned off the on-board video chipset? I have had issues SEVERAL times in the past with Nvidia cards and the on-board video not automatically turning off.

A years ago, with only a little small coup my old 6800gs was broken...
RMA is the best option...
