Which X48 (ddr 2) board?

If it were me, the DFI. And thats advice I shoulda given myself. Even with the deal I managed to snag, the Maximus hasn't been a fun board. Shoulda gone with an X38 DFI board, but they were all $400 :S.

also you might check out ncix for competitive Canadian pricing, eh. I'm a candian too eh, and I'm all abuut NAFTA and competitive pricing eh.
 
I know I said price didn't matter but it's also the less expensive ! From what I've read the BIOS is a little more complicated than others.
 
I'm very satisfied with my DFI board.

There are tons of options in the BIOS but you don't have to mess with them if you don't want to. On mine most everything is set to auto/default and everything is rock solid stable.

+1. Just leave everything on auto. Great board whether you overclock or not.
