DFI LP LT X48-T2R reboot issues?

Having a strange problem w/ the above mentioned motherboard. It does this at stock speeds and w/ my OC. I can reboot my computer, and like 90% of the time it's fine. The other 10%, I'll hit reboot in windows, and the machine will turn off instead. I'll then hit the power button, it turns on for like 3-5 seconds, then turns back off. This results in me having to clear the CMOS to get it to POST again. After it POSTs, I'm in business again, can redo my OC, and be off to the races. WTF is going on? Everything is stable, I'm sure of that...so whats up?
 
if anything is similar with DFI P35 MB, then you have to look at the 3-group jumpers that are used for select different FSB CPU.
 
The jumpers on your MB. There are 3 groups of jumpers on X48. You need set them according to your CPU. Not the those numbers in your BIOS.
 
ahh...so for E8400, set to 1333...i'll give it a shot...why would this help?
