Will the HSF fit on the DFI LP Dk X38?

I've got this cooler: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835887011&Tpk=nirvana+nv120

But I'm not sure if it will fit on this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813136045 because of the northbridge heatsink, which on this pic: http://resources.vr-zone.com//newspics/Jan08/21/DKX38-T2R.jpg seems to be pretty close

I really need to know

edit:

Ok I'm in a little situation here. The Nirvana NV120 CPU cooler will not fit on either DFI boards (LT and Dk) if I want it to suck the air from the front to the back. And, apparently, I cannot also make it suck air from the bottom towards the top exhaust fan on the Antec 900 case ( this guy uses a similar board (with quite the same Northbridge heatsink http://www.overclockersclub.com/revi..._review/3.htm), so just like that guy I would have to suck the air from the top towards the bottom, but that wouldn't make sense with a 900 case because the top fan is an exhaust fan. So basically, I would love the DFI Dk X38 board but will I achieve better cooling, thus better OCing, on an ASUS P5E (assuming the fan fits on that one too)??

Can you please post a working link to that overclockersclub review?

I just ordered an NV120 and DFI X38 LT... I hope it all fits!

EDIT: Was this the link you tried to post?

From the pics there it looks like it would fit fine in the 900 blowing up towards the exhaust fan, even though they said it wouldn't they weren't using a DFI X38 board. My stuff should be here Thursday so we'll see...

Doesn't the fan on the NV120 blow air onto its fins? Like in your case it would suck air from the top, not blow to the top. I want the NV120 to suck air from the front and and exhaust it on the back, so I'm getting the P5E board. You could always flip the top fan to make it an intake

Just installed it five minutes ago. It fit perfectly, I didn't have to bend any fins or anything. Get the DFI, you won't regret it!

Here's a quick shot from my phone:

Hi Wildfire, nice setup you got there. Just wondering... can mount the NV120 horizontally? (ie.so the fan is at the bottom)

Thanks!

Unfortunately, that's the one configuration that you can't use with the NV120 and DFI's stock northbridge heatsink. That was originally how I wanted to set it up but the Nirvana's fan hits the DFI heatsink.

OH MY GOD

I really hope my friend can cancel the order for the Asus board :(
