Very nice, what are you using to create your textures and apply them?

I know you could either have made a map or let the program apply it based on elevation sorta thing just curious which you did.

Looks good.
 
Im creating them in Mojoworld 3.0 and applying lighting effects in Adobe Photoshop
 
only about a week now, Im still learning. thx for the comments.

Haha, same here. Bryce and Vue Infinite do exactly this. There are lots of plugins for Max, Maya, etc. but you can always spot the Bryce type of images.
 
I'm not a big one for this kind of work, but you ought to give Terragen a shot as well, just google it, can make some amazing stuff in that program.

Here's something I made in terragen probably 3-4 years ago, after about 2 days of messing around just for kicks. Personally, I don't like it, but its good to show what you can do with the program with a little work!
