I like the look of media monkey for doing vid clips, and audio, tagging and organization but it doesnt look like it does images too. any recommendations?

The images are stored on NAS, i have stuff for the web.

Lightroom seems like its an excellent tool for photography. Bridge is good as well except for photography but still works if you don't want to drop another $300 on LR.

I use a combination of Lightroom for editing/managing RAWs and Picasa for everyday viewing and just basic tweaks.

ACDSee Pro,
i've tried Lightroom, and it not too shabby, but i like ACDSee it's simple

Another Lightroom user here. I bought it since Adobe bought that other software product's developer (forget the name, I think it was Rawshooter Pro?), and also cause it was $100 off at the time.

I just use folders within Windows and store them on my storage hdd which is separate from the OS drive.

I use folders with year - date - event. Or just year - event.

For my personal pictures I use this system. Some are categorized by genres as well.

For work, I use Picasa to organize pictures by event. Picasa is easy, fast, and efficient. I love it.
