What are you playing today? THREAD

My buddy said he wanted to game Diablo 2 on bnet. I always stuck to single player because it was a bit annoying finding a good players to party with.

So I'll be installing some D2 and hopefully gaming it up. I swear to god, that game comes on and off. Play hardcore for a couple months, burn out, recharge, and then come back. Repeat.

I finally beat Bioshock a couple of days ago (only took me 6 months) but besides that, haven't really played anything since I broke up with my stupid slut of a girlfriend. Oh well.

TF2 is calling, but I need to beat No More Heroes. I also have aspirations of playing the entire HL2 series soon (got it all via Orange Box). But I also want to play at least MGS3 before MGS4 comes out. I have 3 weeks between college graduation and starting work in which I need to put in some serious gaming hours. I've been too busy with school related things to make good progress lately.
 
Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

I've had it for awhile, but never really played it to its full extent. Just got the players guide so figured i would take the game on again.
 
I'm going to play some more Oblivion tonight for sure....

Maybe some TF2 if I get the itch.

Replaying Oblivion for the second time with everything maxed out on my new 9600GT, and will also play final fantasy xi online.

The new stop-the-TNT'd-cart map is epic. They really gotta come up with a system where if the cart makes it to the end the whole map goes boom. Show us the real power of that havok engine!!

Assassin's Creed - starts well, but becomes repetitive quickly. Done one assassination then you have done them all. Combat is also poor - once you learn how to counter attack the battles offer little challenge. Overall a decent game but a missed opportunity. It could and should have been so much better. I'm not going to bother with the 2 sequels unless the repetitive gameplay is improved. Ubisoft Montreal's Prince of Persia trilogy is far superior in every way.
 
As always for the last couple years: Day of Defeat (source now). Nothing even comes close if you're in a functioning clan.

I enjoyed the whole game, but then I enjoyed the story (and enjoyed day dreaming about the repercussion of a game that contains anti-islamic and anti-christian messages. Love that little cover-our-ass message at the begining of the game.) Overall I'd say its a solid 8 and an excellent first game. They set the bar nice-n-high for number 2!
 
About 20 minutes from now I'll be playing MarioKart Wii. My wife's picking it up our pre-order from Gamestop right now. She just has to wait til midnight before she can leave the store with it.
 
I am currently playing Bomberman on the DS at work tonight. I played a little Super R-type on the FC-twin before I left though. I love those old side scroll space shooters.

Well the servers for online play are always busy ... I think this game is pretty uncomplicated compared to many others.

Just connect to a server and shoot !

Haven't played Halo 2 yet ... let alone Halo 3.
 
sadly im stuck on the crack based world of warcraft, cant shake it!! maybe i need to check in to warcraft anonymous?
 
savage 2 - one of the best games ive ever played. the only downside is that it has a small player base. I play daily.
