both are the same price, so which one do you think is most worth it?

XFX gpu is overclocked to 740mhz while the EVGA gpu is only overclocked to 685mhz

EVGA memory is overclocked to 2260mhz while the XFX memory remains on 2200mhz

both brands do lifetime warranty, but EVGA will also have the step-up program, which may or may not be usefull depending on when these 9900 cards come out

my concern with the XFX card is how much hotter it will run

Even though the 256 bit memory bus is a bit of a 'bottleneck' on the G92, the XFX has better clocks overall... Is the Step-Up program still 90 days? it might be worth it to go for the EVGA and try to push the GPU clocks higher.

EVGA website says it works in Europe, so I'd imagine it works in the UK

If you don't plan on stepping up (i doubt anything worth it will show up in that time frame) I'd go w/ the XFX. It'll be easier to bring the memory clocks up than the core.

EVGA Superclocked is 770mhz core 2300mhz memory

Whoops nevermind that is SSC

SC is 700/2200

I would'nt worry too much about the clocks though because I think all these cards will overclock to well over what they come clocked at. Most people are getting close to 850 core 2300 shader and 2600 mem on the regular non overclocked versions. With this much headroom I doubt they even bin the chips for the OC versions.

oh man I literally placed the order for the XFX card like 10 minutes ago

hmm ok scan must have got it wrong saying SC was 685 if EVGA say it's 700

That's an exaggeration.

Most people are getting 800/2100/2400.

Still good.

I have seen at least 5 gpuz as I said "close to" those numbers because they are all a little different not exaggerating at all. There are some people that are having a problem with the fan ramping down when the card goes over 60c perhaps that is why you are seeing some cards with lower OC's out there. Hopefully mine get here Friday so i can test for myself but I am quite confident I will get "close to" those clocks as well :D

I managed to get my order changed to the SSC, that one ticks all my boxes :D

Anyone know if you can just bios flash a normal GTX with the SSC bios? I know with my old 2900Pro I was able to turn it into an XT just by flashing the bios. Is there anyway to do this with a Nvidia card?

Using the stock speeds, the GPU overclock on the XFX is likely to bring you more performance, 60mhz on the memory isn't really that much. If you don't intend to overclock the cards further than their preset overclock, then I'd go with XFX
