Found this in the Clearance section at my local Target. I haven't played this one yet but I am sure it will be worth the price of admission.

Its a shame this game is an epic failure. Its just awful.

I paid $39.99 for my copy, might have been more fun if it was $9.98 :p

I wonder why this game has had such poor sales that the publisher had to lower prices to just $10 for attracting customers?

The publisher hasn't, Target is just very hit and miss with it's clearance. They run some insane clearance prices on semi recent titles at times, but it's very sporadic, and a huge YMM mf'n V.

Case in point my target has yet to bear fruit on any online deal I've ever tried to take advantage of.

The short point is: don't get your hopes up.

That must be target's "get big fast" clearance move right there.

does it even have single player? is it a suquel to quake 4?

Yeah it does, but its not a sequel. The gameplay is reminecent of the old Battlefield stuff. Team play and you got to conquer zones. I dont know if that is the extent or what. Pretty cool so far. I only did a little bit of trainging so far just to see what it looks like. Then I did a little spectating on a battle that was posted on the ET:QW forums. Looks like there is still plenty of players out there keeping it alive.

for $10 it might be worth it.

Are you sure about that? I thought QW was a multiplayer only game.

It is MP only. Just think about how RTCW:ET was and then merge that with Battlefield and you'll get this game. I've been playing this since beta and bought it for $40 and consider it worth the money, so for under $10 if you can get it is a steal. If you like big maps where team work is key and requires strategy, then you'll like this game.

lol target doesn't anything about video games. they probably randomly mark things as clearance if it's sitting on the shelf 2long. they dunno which titles came out, lol.

I played the demo, pretty crappy game. its one of those games you will play for a few days. it might be worth $10 but thats really pushing it.

I tested this game in BETA and played the DEMO quite a bit. It was great...that is until it made its way to retail. I was really surprised at its lack of community, considering how well ET originally did.

Also note I saw 3 copies of this for $9.98 at the Target in Woodbridge, VA
