Westy L2410NM on the right w/ Dell 1907 in portrait mode on left = gaming rig.

Thinkpad T42 + Dell 15" LCD on right = work rig.

I work from home so I spend a good 10-12 hours in front of this stuff.

what type of leds are you using behind the monitor? I'm looking to put some behind mine and I'm not sure of what to use.

Rogue jedi, which of the 2 do your prefer?

Tough question... I think I prefer the LG, but only slightly. The input options on the Westy are better, the component on it is better (it'll do 1080p, not just 1080i), but I like the colors on the LG better (both uncalibrated, just guessing at them) The Westy has some input lag on it - videos look slightly wierd... audio isn't quite lined up with the video. Either one should do you fine. The LG is no longer being produced, I think, so it's on clearance everywhere if you can find one. There's threads for the LG and the Westy if you want to read up on them. Honestly I'd recommend getting the Westy over the LG at this point because if the LG breaks, you're probably screwed on warranty service as I think they no longer make the L246WP-BN with the MVA panel, I think they have a TN based one now instead called the L246WH-BN or something. Unless of course you play a lot of FPS games, as the Westy may cause you headaches with input lag. I'd recommend going and looking at each if you can.

Where did you manage to get it at?

If you are in canada futureshop has them on sale for $269.00 this week I ve had mine for a few days and Iam very pleased so far. I see some slight dithering during dark transitions but I did'nt spend $500.00 for it either.

Sony 40" KDL-W3000 as a desktop monitor.
Tiny keyboard not included.

Would love to add two more but I don't know exactly how I would pull it off.
DVI / HDMI 1080p @ 60hz 8ms
Plays all sorts of FPS with no ghosting.

Let me guess... Call of Duty 4?

I don't have that game, yet...
HL2 / ep2, Quake4, F.E.A.R. and Bioshock... lots of non-wide screen games in there too.
Serious Sam SE and SS2 are great fun.

40" is max for me at a desktop distance.
Any more and it would be uncomfortable...

Yea, its a HDTV.
I prefer to keep my SD and HD separated.

Reminds me of hooking the ol' C=64 up to a TV back in the day... but different. :D

Heh, your setup reminds me of a friend of mine who's a CoD enthusiast. He too got a 40" HDTV for his computer... I was like WTF I'm still playing games on a 17" monitor!

LOL

4 x Dell 17" LCD's. I am hoping to upgrade to widescreens eventually, but getting my hands on these alone wasnt the easiest task at work.

on the left is my docked laptop, center 2 monitors is my main workstation, and the right monitor is my secondary work station. All controled with a single keyboard / mouse via Syngery.

Daaamnnnn some of you guys have some sick setups. I'm anxiously awaiting the day I can go with a multi-monitor setup.

Hello all :)
Been a member for a while but I'm not a regular poster.
Anyways, I saw the post on the front page about multi-monitor set-ups and followed the link to this thread... I've been looking at some of the sweet set-ups that some of you have, and now I must say that now I feel like I have failed as a computer geek with my set-up :(

But oh well, It works for me and I feel compelled to share it with y'all. :)

so here it is. I humbly present my current computer...

Oh, and sorry about the terrible pictures. The only camera I own is attached to my cell phone.

The monitor is the Hanns-G HG281-DJB; it's 27.5" has a resolution of 1920 X 1200 and a 3ms response rate. This is the model with the height adjustable stand.
The box with the nobs belongs to my X-Fi Elite Pro sound card, but I'm sure I probably didn't need to tell y'all that ;)
The speakers are Logitech Z-2300.
The mouse is the G-5 (Gen 2)
Keyboard, some generic Compaq keyboard... But I'm looking to get the G-15 (Gen 2)
And yes, that's a Razor SpeedPad mouse mat :D

Just waiting on Intel to ship the Q9450 so I can pick one of those up and mount it to a shiny, new EVGA 780i SLI Mobo.

Made a few change to my setup, so figured I would post:

Hey Tommy, is that the FREDRIK? Just taking a guess, legs look different and it looks smaller... Size seems pretty good though. Just wondering cause it looks significantly smaller than my JERKER... maybe it's the angle?

Then it's a good guess, because you're right! I also think its the angle that makes it look small...

Are you running the m1330 at 1920x1200 through the 3007? If so what it like? And what do you do with all those shiny m1330's? PM if you want to sell one!
I'm not running the 3007 with the 1330.. hehe.
The computer running that is: Asus P5W DH Deluxe, C2D E6600 @ 3GHz, XFX 8800GTS(G92) 512MB, OCZ 4x1024, Corsair HX620W all wrapped in a nice Lian Li case:)

The reason I've got 3 1330's in the pic: two of them are mine cos I won one at work and the last one is owned by my girlfriend.
