Selling an EVGA card on eBay

Hypothetically if I were to sell a used, registered EVGA card on eBay, what would the warranty situation be?

Obviously, it's nontransferable, but should I tell bidders to send the card back to me if it breaks, so that I can send it to EVGA under my name? Is that mail fraud, or something?

Probably better to list it as registered as to not have to deal with potential headaches in the future..

List as no warranty and AS IS. They could get the card and mess it up and then tell you it was your fault or s/h fault.

personally i just tell em should something happen within a reasonable amount of time (say, 30 days or 90 days) to send it back to me and i help them rma the card. this offers them some protection, without you having it hanging over your head indefinitely.

they would have to pay double shipping, of course.

as far as evga, if it's registered to you and sent in by you, it adheres to their warranty requirements. i suppose it could be regarded as unscrupulous on some level, but aside from the fact it would be difficult if not impossible for them to prove, it wouldn't be worth the trouble for them to do so.

at any rate, i've done it this way several times, and have yet had to rma a card for someone.

why not sell it here on the forums? unless your trying to eek every penny out you would have a better chance of NOT having someone screw you over here...

I agree with Sunin, sell them one here. After I get 50 posts I'm going to start selling one here!
