New game LO vs DMC4

I know the two are different genres but atm I'm a little stagnated with COD 4 and resistance. Was thinking of mixing it up a bit and trying something new.

Mind you I hated the ff series, but loved games like Valkrie Profile, Parasite Eve, Mass Effect, and there were 1 or 2 others in there. Overall I'm more of an action fan but tired of playing really short games.

I'd grab DMC4 on the PS3 also so another game for the sony is kinda a good thing atm.

So any suggestions, does LO have enough action and story in it to keep it interesting or is it more story and less action?

DMC4 will hold you for a while I think, beating all the modes will take some time. Maybe even 3 months! (though I doubt it.) Then NG2'll be out and you can play that.... for the next 7 years.

Also if you hated FF, then you're probably not going to like LO since the creator of Final Fantasy made this.

I made a thread a while back on this topic. I chose LO and I am very happy with it. The story is a big part of the game, but it's a great story so far

Well I picked up DMC4 last night. Loving it so far. Difficulty is just the right hardness and the story has me pretty hooked.

I'll probably just go rent LO and see what i think about it, but with such a great set of games coming on the horizon it may have to be put way back on the back burner.
