go to newegg, get the patriot extreme LLK's at $33 after rebate, they have D9 memory chips and OC like mad.

I think you mean $44/stick. I know that you have t take newegg reviews witha grain of salt, but it's pretty hard to find a review that says they're good for overclocking and several say they're not very good....many also mention that they don't run at advertised settings.

I'm not trashing your suggestion, because I don't know one way or the other, but the reviews definitely make me a bit leery.

nope, $31 after rebates.

go to toms, tweaktown, xbit....at least everyother one has a long review of them.
and positive too. I know I run either ballistix or patriot LLK's in the builds I make for people and have had no issues. Doesn't mean someone wont, but I have them all work, all rebates returned, and all clock amazing.

I would be leery w/ the reviews too, but I have better reviews and benchmarks.

i have the llk you are talking about. never new they could overclock 600mhz as said in the review. cpuz says the eep guarantees 500 at 2.3vs 5-5-5 but i dont want to push it that far. wonder what chips i have since i have the earlier ones and some used to say they had some kind of elipia (dont know about spelling) chips
