Hi All: Purchased (8 months ago) a Logitech G5 mouse & I love it. I started to have a very slight problem were the Left-Click was sticking. I e-mailed Logitech & within minutes (yes...minutes) they followed-up.

It took me a few minutes to fill out the normal information & upload my Best Buy receipt. They are sending out a brand new one without having to send my original one back! Geez...When people complain of poor service these days, Logitech is the exception! I own a few Logitech products & they are build very, very well & now I'm a Logitech fan for life!

Yes...Their product isn't the cheapest game in town but you get what you pay for!

Always been a fan of logitech. Their quality products and customer service is why i continue to buy their products over and over again.

Yeah, their service is excellent. I recently got my Revolution replaced without a receipt. I did have to send my dead one back in.... but no receipt? And their response time is really impressive as well.

They put out a very solid product, and put out the "slim devices" brand of music player. Very cool.

My MX518 is still cruisin' on along after 3 years. I've never had a better mouse. I don't think this thing will ever die.

Hence why most of my equipment is from Logitech... *see sig*

Great company, high quality products, and great prices. :)

Same here, my Logitech logo was even wearing off from my sweat or something, just took it off and I don't even mess with it since my hand covers it anyway ^_^ I love how the MX518 cups my hand too! Logitech should have replaceable color faceplates!!!

Also, I had a broken Logitech headset, I threw it away and they still replaced it!!!! The replacement ended up quitting so no more headsets for me anyway, just using my HD485s and now keep my mic seperate. I love me some Logitech, A++++ customer service.

Thanks, this post reminded me to send in my RMA request again. For the past month or 2 my left mouse button on my G7 has been finicky. There are times where it will double click every time i click, and then itll be fine for awhile again. When its acting up its incredibly annoying and almost impossible to use. Theyre working my RMA out now and should be confirming my request soon...

I had the same experience, except minus the receipt. the phone conversation was less than 2 mins, and a new mouse was at my door in less than one week.

My MX510 is still going strong! (Thought about updating, but it it ain't broke, don't fix it!).

I doubt I will ever buy another mouse besides a Logitech. Good to hear their CS is great - but I've never had to use it.

I have a MX510 on my old rig still works like new, just over 3 and 1/2 years of use. I just got a G5 rev 2 and it's very nice too.

Yea I agree. Good quality products plus they honor all their rebates which is a big plus for me!

Heh, I'm still using a Logitech MouseMan Dual Optical, ca. 2002. Works great :) I think the LMB is finally wearing out, though, since I have to press slightly harder to make it stick. Considering it's probably handled a million mouse clicks, I'd say I got my money's worth. I've always bought Logitech mice, and it's good to know they still know how to treat their customers.

o_O they don't even make you send in a broken device and send you a brand new one? Do they do that with all RMA's? I've had a few keyboards break of Logitechs but usually I just would go buy a new one >.>

That's insane service right there.

Yeah Logitech is awesome. Still using my MX700 on my main PC. Still has the original batteries which hold a charge for 3-7 days I would say. Maybe a little less now though. Might have to call them on a wireless mouse that I bought for my other computer but after reading this I am not dreading the call too much:p

Another Logitech fan here. I have a keyboard, two mice, and a speaker system (see sig). Happy with them all. An MX1000 was faulty, so they told me to destroy it, and they sent me a new one in four days. Second one faulty, they got me a G5! Great service, that wouldn't happen with any other company.

They do have amazing customer service.. I have 2 MX revolutions, a speaker system, 2 G5s, a G11 and a Rev 2 G15.. All of them kick ass products.

HOLY SHIT! My new mouse got here in 3 days! I got back from a meeting a meeting (5pm - 7pm) and there was a package outside my door. I hadnt even realized that it shipped yet, and it was already here. Now Thats customer service.

The G9 is incredible. I loved my G7 and thought it would be really hard to outdo it, but the G9 seems to have done just that! Its so so smooth, I cant even do justice in attempting to explain its glory. It has customizable weight, faceplates for width/style adjustment, and if that werent enough, you can set the backlight color just for style. Insane!

I disagree completely. BOTH Times I tried to RMA my mouse for the exact same thing they screwed up.

They made me send back my MX Revolution, and shipped out a new one. Although, they never actually shipped it.

So, I got it about 2 months later.

Then, my left click was sticking, so I RMA'd it again, and they want me to send it to them again (costs me about 15$ each time). So, I did that, then they didn't accept it, and shipped the broken product right back to me, for reasons unknown. I followed their instructions to the Tee, and yes, the RMA number was on the outside of the box.

I'm only buying logitech keyboards and mice from now on, I had an mx518 die on me, faxed them a receipt and had a new mx518 to me within a week, that one's right click stopped working and I had to ship it back (understandable, only ran me $4), and then they sent me the last 518... Also had a media elite keyboard die after 2 years, was replaced with a newer model which I'm typing on right now, although I may try the DAS keyboard, I think I'll stick with logitech just for the warranty.

My friends G15 wouldn't work properly after an "accident" (just random garbage when you plug it in would happen, as if someone was pressing keys) a few minutes on the phone and they shipped a new g15 out to me, which I gave to my friend at our next LAN, he was like "OMG WTF how'd you get a new one?"

:D <3 logitech...

About a month ago I read a rumor that Logitech was to be acquired by Microsoft, but nothing since then.

Anyone heard any concrete details? I'm hoping Logitech stays the course and remains independent, nothing worse than Microsuck self-branding your products...

Also,
I'd like to say that Logitech peripherals are by far my favorite of all time. I've owned MX510, G5, Ultra-X/G15 keyboards, and lastly my MX310 mouse, which I've had since 2003 and still functions as my everyday 'net browsing mouse.

replaced my mx518 (still good and stored somewhere) with G7 and after a while the G7 started acting up and called up Logi and found out G7 were discontinued. but they replaced it with G9 instead. awesome mice by the way.. so i'm a fan of logitech. also bought universal remote 880 for my HT and works perfect.

The first time I had to RMA product back to Logitech for a customer, Logitech customer service treated me like I was trying to con them out of a new replacement part. The second time I had to RMA something the rep I talked to was friendly and all, but I had to stay on the phone at least half an hour troubleshooting a known defective part before they shipped me a replacement. I was a little surprised they didn't want the defective units back tho.

Reading all of these stories annoys me ...

I have gone through THREE Rev. 1 G15 keyboards in the past year and a half. Don't get me wrong...the keyboard is great, however, there were some quality issues with them early on.

The kicker is, I had to send EVERY single keyboard back. At $22 a pop, I wonder if it's worth it anymore. Actually, sitting on my shelf at home is yet another dead G15, which makes number 4.

Instead, I went out and purchased Rev. 2 which seems to be built much better. However, idk what to do with the dead G15. It's almost not worth the time and effort if I have to mail it back to them again, for the FOURTH time, to get replaced.

Where do you guys score all the luck with getting a replacement item mailed back without sending the busted item back? Through e-mail? Or over the phone?

I still have one of the first few logitech trackballs... The sucker was square and I bought it back in 1992. While I dont currently use it anymore last time I did (about a year ago) it worked like a charm. :D

You need the original receipt, if you have that you dont need to send it in.

Hmm.. My Black G7 has been acting up lately and it stops responding for a few seconds at a time every now and then, sometimes in continuous spurts and sometimes rarely, so I was thinking about contacting Logitech for a replacement.

I still have the original receipt from around a year and a half ago from J&R :D. So do you guys think I should contact them by e-mail or phone? And also, do I just take a picture of my receipt and then upload it to them? Thanks.

I agree, I have countless Logitech products 3 mouses, webcam etc. I personally use though my G7 for the last 3 years. I have dropped the thing at least 50+ times at 3ft+ heights and it still works after so many hours of use with out a hitch. Logtiech gets an A+++. Now I wish they would create another wireless mouse with the new gens of lasers.

I did that with Sennheiser and they did it for me.
