Dead pixel or stucked pixel or neither...?

I just found a bright white pixel on the corner of my LCD screen. It's most visible under white background. It will disappear when the background is dark. What kind of defect is it? Should I exchange it? I'm still within the 30 days satisfaction period from DELL.

Probably stuck. Either way you'll probably want to replace it if you want it gone. I have one on mine and no amount of pixel flashing utilities or tapping will bring it back. Although I guess you could try them beforehand.
