It's from TigerDirect, no MIR, shipping is ~15. I'm still waiting out the format war, but if you want an HD-DVD player, it's hard to beat $145.
 
Looks like Toshiba is getting desperate... but I really do hope Sony and its BluRay lose. A bunch of rootkit selling b*st*rds.
 
This is one of the most pro HD-DVD / anti Blu-ray boards I've been to.

I have a feeling HD-DVD will be fading into history by summer. But I'm still a big supporter of it. And even with a glimpse of its likely fate, I still think $130 is a reasonable amount of money for a package like this.
 
If I had to bet on a winner I would go with Blu-ray as it is outselling HD-DVD's at least 3-1 and there are more studios behind it then HD-DVD.

Consider that for about $20 a movie plus a free player this is a great deal.
 
Maybe Microsoft, Intel and Toshiba should really join forces and start giving out free HD DVD players + Movies and make a comeback.:D

Well, if you have to mail off for 5 of the 7 moves... that's an MIR.

as much as i hate to say it but i think HD-DVD is loosing on this battle.. i think there's only one studio going to support the format i read last month that 2 studio pull the plug and switch to blu-ray.
 
thats a really good deal for what it is.... but you know somethings wrong when a player and 7 movies cost less than the xbox 360 add-on drive lol.

think im sticking with my ps3 blu-ray tho.
