I hope this isn't a repost, but I don't really care... :)

I'm really begining to hate this monitor.

And the fools that keep starting new threads regarding it.

900 pixels high = crap.

This thing would suck even if it were twice as high, because no games were designed to be displayed this way. Virtual reality glasses do a much better job.

It would be a fun monitor to have if anything would support it but since it will be such an obscure item nobody will take their time to develop anything for it.

2880x960 = non-standard resolution hence no support in any windows OS let alone a game.

Actually I would think that would be up to the monitor drivers. Have to say, though, can't see this thing becoming anything more than a novelty item. It looks damn cool, but what real use is it?

Now if it were flat and *x1200, it would rock for people who need so much desktop space that they normally would have a dual monitor setup. :)

Ehhh. Vertical resolution too low for work (i.e. trading stocks, office apps, etc), and you can only play games on it that support this oddball resolution. I doubt there's a single game out there that natively supports 2880*900, so every game you want to play you have to do some registry or .ini editing.

Not curved, nowhere near as elegant, but at less than 20% of the price of the Alienware, you're better off getting 2 1440*900 displays and using a Matrox Dualhead2Go to trick your videocard into thinking it's powering one large display.
