Anyone know how these compare to the Koss Sb 45s I've been meaning to get for a while now?

That's what I did. I'm not getting paid a buck something for it, but less than a quarter AR is still a pretty good deal, awesome in fact. :)

Hopefully XFX is good with rebates.

Dang It... GCO is for First Time Buyers only or I am doing something wrong. I pulled the pin on it and had to cancel it right away when I didn't see the $10 off. I'll wait a while and use the 5% off as I am looking for a set of cheap headsets and this are still a good deal with the 5% Off + $20 MiR.

i have these and they aren't that comfortable. The first week they were fine, then they started hurting my ears. But i got them for even cheaper, i earned $5 on the last deal.
 
lol I still haven't gotten my $10 rebate from months ago from XFX, just checked the status and its going to be mailed on the 11th.

Good headphones though for the price. I don't use the bass booster thing, its turned off :p.
 
i ordered it on the 6th (Sunday) and chose budget free shipping.

They still haven't shipped it out yet. is this normal or does this mean i am placed on order because it's out of stock.

i don't think it was out of stock when i ordered it though.

Mine is in same status. I've gotten this for my brother couple of days prior to mine but I couldn't get mine cause I couldn't find card to use for GC. It only took couple of hours for my brother's to be shipped after sent to warehouse so I'm not sure what's going on. I wanted to use Vent to play Mythos and Hellgate with my brother but gotta wait longer. I also should have gotten when it was -$3 after rebate and make $3 like my when I ordered my brother's instead of paying $.24 lol.:D
 
Ok, my headset arrived about an hour ago. I managed to get the cardboard part with the rebate out easily, but man was the headset packaging itself hard to remove. I pretty much destroyed the packaging to get it. :p

Anyways, I can set this headset to get the sound I want, which is pretty good, but I can't seem to get the mic to work well. I'm on Realtek integrated audio, so might that be the problem as well as the wrong settings?
 
As long as your plugged into the mic port I would just start cranking up your inbound db. I had to set mine to about 50% amplification for it to be loud enough for my normal speach volume.

I just got mine yesturday and deffinitly the best .25 head set I have owned haha. It's a pretty nice unit, the head strap im not a huge fan of because I wasn't able to snug it up so it feels a bit unsturdy but I was using it in place of my 2.1 speakers and was able to hear things I couldn't normally so im very satisfied so far.
 
yeah, I actually managed to fix it a while after that(though not before you replied :p ). Apparently the front audio ports are no good, I have to use the back ones...though I do remember using the back ones before and they didn't work well. Meh.

Oh well, these are great for 24 cents. :)
 
Got mine tonite but I am a little dissapointed on them, I was going to use them mostly as regular speakers and they do sound great in that respect but, here's the big deal breaker... I either have a very small head, don't know how to wear them correctly or there is no way to properly fit them on my head because there is no way for them to go up or down for comfort fitness, aside from being HUGE they feel like half of the earphone is just hanging to the side of your ears (at least that's how I feel they fit :eek: :D)

Is anybody else having this problem or is just me and my wierd head?
 
just got the headphones today and am pleased with them. they sound better than my cheap sennheisers. they are very comfy as well compared to my sennheisers. the rumble feature is pretty neat but i'm sure that i'll get bored of it after a while
 
I got mine yesterday, I like them so far. They are quite comfortable compared to my old set.
