As I find myself getting into computers more and more
I am slowly realizing the costs involved (Im in college).
I have an old Pentium Pro kicking around on a socket 8
that should be an ATX form factor board I assume.
I would be poping a new mobo in.
Does anyone think with some minor case modification it would
be good enough to run the computer in my sig?
If pics would be helpful I can get some later this week.

The sky's the limit as long as it fits your board.

Anything else that comes up, if you're crative enough, you'll get by.

absopositvelutely.

Be creative and you can do anything (within reason) with a full size case.

The setup in my signature is running in a steel case that once housed a Super Socket 7 K-6-2-500 machine...

p2 >> p3;
changed power supply methods and cables
including on/off switch
changed mobo form factor
.................................
the above is my recollection (someone might
verify it)

The P Pro I had was a AT but you can still mod it how ever you want. I have used the reset button for a power button on atx crunchers in a old AT case. Does the trick.

Cool tnx for the info were all the P pros AT form factor then? I know the board was a multi proc board. Looking at Wiki it seems most likely that the computer in fact has an AT form factor. Well I guess thats what a power drill is for.
