ditto.. my order was processed to the warehouse within an hour, and was shipped, several hours after that.
 
bah my 8500 tracers are still "sent to warehouse"... did you guys choose FREE shipping?

Newegg works the same way. It should be once you put it in your shopping cart it's yours until you remove it. It's a contest 'who can type their info the fastest.'
 
Wow looks like i got it just in time yesterday.
And I agree, they have some fast shipping. 7-9 days my ass LOL. It's going to be here tomorrow or thursday the latest.
 
Wish I didn't miss this deal. Bought all my other components at newegg with the 20% off paypal deal. All I need is ram.

But I definately disagree on fast shipping. Buy.com takes forever.

Last order I made was on 11/2/7. It shipped 11/9/7 and has yet to arrive. Their shipping is some of the worst I have ever seen. I don't even want to mention the zune I ordered. Took over a month and a half and I ordered before it was on backorder.

i've purchase several times from buy.com, never had a problem on how fast they got my order out.

i placed my order yesterday and it shipped out yesterday but i didn't get the email confirmation till this morning. if they're shipping it from the CA warehouse i usually get it next day or a day later :).
 
I can't complain about shipping either from Buy.com

Got tracking #'s today for both sets...And I chose Free Shipping :cool:
 
I ordered Crucial Ballistix on 11/14 and it didn't ship until the 20th and it got handed of to USPS on the 23rd and I still don't have it. Probably stolen already. It will be 9 business days tomorrow. :confused:

i happened to me too.
and the bad news is, i bought the copter 16.98 using google discount 10 means charge only 6.98 us

after shipped status => charge back to 16.98. WITHOUT ANY OF CONFIRMATION.
this chase makes me MAD :mad:

could i return this copter ?

if you read some of the reseller ratings, people have said buy.com "cancels" orders whenever they see fit for whatever reasons.

Nope, I ordered 1 kit of this yesterday through GC and mine shipped today.
A few months ago I ordered an Xbox Live 12+1 month subscription card off Buy.com through GC, it also shipped and arrived quickly.

I haven't had any problems with Buy.com *or* Google Checkout, together or alone. :eek:

I do wish this deal would come back though in a few weeks when I have more $ to buy a 2nd kit. ;) Oh well if it don't I'll just get a set off ZZF, it's pretty cheap there too. (although not as cheap as this of course)
 
I ordered my kit yesterday and it shipped today, will be here Thursday.

My first order was mysteriously cancelled but I re-ordered right away. Just wish these were the Newegg LANFEST ones, I prefer those LED's over the Tracers
 
My order hit me in the mail today, thats practically next day service via the USPS. I'm impressed. It shipped from Forest Park Illinois BTW. I'm Just north of Milwaukee so it barely had to make a trip. Buy.com just won a new regular customer w/ service like this.

My IX38 arrives tomorrow too! Should be a fun weekend!:D
 
Mine came as well this morning! Also got the MX Revolution ordered the same day from Amazon. These guys must be gearing up for the holiday shopping because I have never recieved items this fast before, normally I would just now be getting a tracking number with the free shipping option. :D

I just bit on this deal, they put another one up with a MIR for $42 off, I paid $88 but in the end it will cost me $46.

I already own the same memory right now but will be going 4GB and Vista once this stuff arrives.

I've read of Ballistix DDR2 (spec'd at 2.2v) crapping out at even 2.0 or 2.1v. Are the newer Ballistix less prone to giving up the ghost, or is there any difference with the Tracers? Also has the PC2-6400 Tracer been known to have the GKX chips lately? Do they like bein' naked as much as my olde tyme Winbond *H-5 chips?

I'm still waiting for mine. It says they shipped it on Nov 27th and nothing yet. I believe they ship it out USPS, looking at the tracking number (and it says "other" for the carrier). It does say 7 to 9 business days, so we're really only on the 5-6 business day.
 
My ram was also shipped on the 27th and I have yet to receive it. I guess they are shipping via first class mail. Hopefully, it should come by the end of this week!
 
wierd mine shipped on the 27th and I received it December 1st, via USPS from Carollton Texas to Oregon.
 
If you go with the free shipping, it will come First Class Mail, which explains the SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW service.
 
I purchased couple ballstix from buy.com.. 2x1gb(tracer) 2x1gb(regular)
3 of 4 heatsinks were poorly attached.. those who care..
remove the 2 top clip(can be easily removable by nail) push your heatsink towards the ram and put the clips back on... make sure all heat spreaders are touching all the ram.

CSR of Crucial told me ram will run fine without clips...
btw.. I live in LA, CA... they usually ship to my house in 1-2days.
Ordered 1 12/04 received 12/06 via Fedex ground.
