How would that translate into the dollar?(i don't know weather to translate ex VAC or inc VAC)

Dude, $350 aint that cheap.

You could order it in the USA and have it shipped to the UK for less.
 
Yeah, not to mention at launch i saw one 8800GT going for $230.
 
I know that sometimes UK and other countries get the shaft on pricing but what prevents people from non-US countries from ordering from US retailers and getting it shipped to them?

99% of US retailer will not ship internationally is the main reason.

I guess it is mainly due to warranty hassles of shipping internationally, also some manufactures have agreements in supply contracts etc.

It can cost like $30 to ship with a card within a week to Europe, so really he would only save $US 30-40 and the warranty hassles from his point of view.

You have to remember all US good are subsidised with stolen Iraqi Oil. :)
