Might want to edit your order # out of that, and nope people don't check, they just want to look cool on teh intarwebz it seems .

You know whats odd? Those cards were out of stock during the weekend. I know because i checked. And they had it posted the next shipment was due 11/23. Now today, according to this thread, they had some in stock and quickly out of stock with next shipment again stated as 11/23?? NewEgg isnt being honest nor nice. I wonder if they are going to do this again tomorrow and Wednesday? :p

I just checked, all out of stock as of the time of this post.

2 Still in stock at this moment.

Glad you guys are getting on these... the Crysis deal makes it a $249-$259 card.

Edit: Down to 1, the Crysis bundle, must have more of these...

Well, after agonizing over it I decided to reverse course and order one. I really hate paying the price but I need to get my rig built so I forked out the money for the eVGA 8800GT KO. I feel so nasty, dirty, and used! At least until it arrives at my doorstep. :D

Boy do I know that feeling. I have banned myself from the hot deals forum so I don't end up eating ramen noodles all of next year

Great bargains these cards. This should be reported in "hot deals" section.

One thing is for certain, you hype up a card enough, people will pay just about anything to get one.

I bought an BFG 8800GT OC from Bestbuy 2 days ago for $250 + free shipping.

An hour later I got an emailed that it was backordered and then today I got an email saying it is shipping.

Do these "A3" 8800GTs have different cores than the "A1" versions, or is the only difference the game that's included?

I saw it and decided not to give them their price! Even tho im crying inside...... :)

Three eVGA models showing in stock as of this post time: The SC with ET: QW, the SC with Crysis, and the KO with ET: QW. $289, $299, $309.

I wanted to see about getting in on this locally for various reasons. My in-town BB has never shown in stock. There were two other BB's within 2 hours' drive of me that had them showing in stock last week. By the time I heard of the pending sale, it was down to one. By the time the sale started, it was down to zero.

Out of the six or seven BBs that list when I check for in-store availability, not one has the card and only two ever did. Holy allocations, Batman!

Ditto here. Though getting Crysis with it would be cool, by the time you add in the cost of an aftermarket cooler (which I would think would be at least $25, or more likely $30 after shipping), as I want a quiet card, I could get a revised 8800 GTS if the rumors are right. It was so very tempting though...

Well i bought the Accelero S1 for my 7900GS, which I guess will fit on the 800gt. So when i do get it I can just pop the stock cooler back on it. I will try and overclock the 7900gs until I get a real card. hehe

the Egg is jacking the price up on the last one now so get it while it's hot was $269.99 now it's $289.99.

Lol, that's how they're getting rid of the GTS! See EVGA's site, you only get it with the GTS, not the GT. Maybe the New Egg thing is an error?

It better not be just the GTS. The only reason I jumped on it yesterday was because Crysis was included. I see the Crysis CD in the picture (even though they always say actual product may vary, yada yada) so I hope that's what I get. The 'box' picture shows Crysis free inside with 8800gt so it should be in there.

Way too expensive but I have a full build sitting here with no vid card so I had to at this point.

Thats what I thought also til I scanned the whole eVGA website and it only shows Crysis being bundled with two versions of the 8800GTS. The only bundled game documented on their website with the 8800GT is Quake Wars.

The picture of the box at Newegg for the -A3 shows a Crysis sticker..

I guess we'll know in a couple days when UPS gets here.

isn't the MSRP of the 8800 GT $200?

In theory, yes. Stock 8800 GT's are supposed to be $200, and super-pre-overclocked ones are supposed to top out at $250. Who knows how long it will take to get down to that price point though, with supply so limited and demand so great.

I paid $309 for the KO when it was briefly in stock last week at the Egg, I guess I don't mind since it's a substantial improvement over my dying 1900xt, which I paid just as much for in the summer of 2006.

Still, If I would have gotten Crysis, I'd be a little happier with it...

Last video card for 2 years this time I think...I hope...
