Post Your Mac Setup!

Here's my Mac setup until I get my new desktop and go to college. I'm loving my MacBook, truely amazing. My camera died so I had to use the camera off my LG enV. I'll update it when I buy a new one. Specifications are in my signature.

I see Jay Cutler hitting a most muscular pose there to the left! :D Nicest guy you ever can meet. Met him at the Mr. Olympia few years ago, and wouldn't you know it, I was at Golds in Venice like a year later, and he was doing a photo shoot, and he remembered me! He stopped and came over and said hello.

Wow that's awesome. That would be amazing to meet him! You're lucky to meet him twice haha

I had planned to use the MBP as a secondary display but there is no way to position it on this desk so that I can actually read anything on it (too far away/small).

Just out of curiousity, how do you like that desk and where did you get it? I'm currently shopping for 2 desks, at least one of which a corner desk and I can't find anything I'm comfortable with, but that one looks sweet.

I feel your pain trying to find a good desk. It seems almost impossible to find any made for computers newer than 1995 and any that take ergonomics into consideration with the exception of ordering expensive ones that you can't try out first online which is kinda iffy considering the cost.

As for the desk I have: I absolutely hate it. It was about $300 CAD or so at Costco Canada. I couldn't find anything else even remotely suited to fit all my stuff on anywhere else and at the time (and still currently) can't afford to shell out money on a good, ergonomic, biomorph desk. My main issues: the keyboard tray isn't adjustable (terrible height) and is way too narrow (can't align the keyboard to be centered with me and fit the mouse on it at the same time), the left part that sticks out is always in the way of my left arm (constantly hit it with my elbow), desk surfaces aren't adjustable height wise, no wire management, no room to setup the mbp as a secondary display thats readable, and no room for more monitors either.

I can't wait to get the maxo or personal one of these days: http://www.biomorphdesk.com/1-888-302-DESK/productline.html

Here's mine...I've upgraded the keyboard to the new flat brushed aluminum model. TV also doubles as primary display every once in a while :p

My aging Apple hardware in all their glory among my other machines. :p
2002 Powermac G4 QuickSilver, 2001 iMac G3, & 1995 Power Macintosh 7100/80

I am thinking about buying a new 24-inch iMac sometime early next year.

I really want a black macbook. I'm going to wait and see what new stuff apple has out before the year is up and hopefully I get one lol.

I love how the Wii is so small and mixes in with the rest of the set up so perfectly. Very nice.

I've had a big change in setup, I got fed up of having 3 different computers to maintain and admin. So I've taken everything back to the bone.

I'm just now using the macbook pro instead of the Mac Mini/Ultra small pc/Macbook Pro plus 24in dell screen.

It much easier on the time I need to maintain the machines with just one to worry about.

I love your TV, what kind is that??

Its a sony 17in widescreen number, model no MFM-HT75W. Sadly discontinued now, but its great. I managed to get a refurbed one off ebay a few months back. Takes up far less space than the old 17in screen and looks stunning to boot.

It looks soo cool, but I think 17" would be too small for me to watch TV on in my room or even at my desk :p

I've got a HT75, or used to use it anyway, awesome monitors. Those things are bright as hell, only annoying thing is the switch-input button on the actual monitor itself takes ages to switch between them all.
